After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
This wall has been in progress since the beginning of time. Like, no joke. Sooo although both of us have final exams like, now/a week later, we wrapped it up. AND IT'S GORGEOUS.
It all started when I was reading the TRC manga a couple years months ago and I stumbled upon this scan. So Justin and I made a pact: he'd vector and blend, and I'd paint and text. He kept up his end; I "kept up" mine :D Yeah, I think I'll stick to vectoring from now on. It was fun to work on painting techniques and such, but I'm really not a pro and I'll let them stick to it next time.
The French text is "The Three Travelers". I KNOW, SO CREATIVE, RIGHT?! Yeah, uhh, this wall is the fruition of a good amount of labor. Yeaaaah.

It's here! The dark clouds are so scary (in a great way)!! Lovely painting and vectoring and I love how this wallpaper looks so crisp and cold. The text is also very pretty, but I think it should be moved to the left a little bit. I feel that the brown should be a little lighter, but the current color looks good with the clouds, so I guess it's fine!
This wall officially born on (according to the date that I d/l'ed the manga scan from your email) June 11th, 2007. Congrats to both of us finishing before the official year anniversary :D!
It's kinda sad how this wall could have been done so much sooner, especially on my part. But, nevertheless...

It's finished! >xD walling scenes from manga images is always challenging, 'cause there are always these details that you can't quite make out clearly and you have to work harder than with normal vectoring. D: i have tried it a few times and i pretty much always quit after a while. *is lazy, can you tell?*
you guys did a great job with the vectoring and painting. :3 but although minor, like i was saying in fmn, i would have liked to see stronger shadows on the castle. and justin, if you read this, you didn't fix all the leaking colors. :O and i just noticed now, but the outlines on the highest vertical brown walls are...um, weird (dunno how to describe it) where they overlap with the white ice-wing-whatchamacallits. (omg whatchamacallits is not underlined by firefox! i guess it gave up on my made-up vocabulary :'D) a negligible note about french: when it comes to capitalization, as far as i know and have seen, only the first letter of the first word of the title is capitalized and the remaining starting letters are not.

What i like most from this wall is the way you made the foggy background. It's like i can really feel the chilly breeze there, and it makes the wall really come to life.
Considering how it was actually a scene from a manga, credits must first be given to you guys for even attempting to vector it..and further merits for doing it so well. No complains about the details of vector 'cause I agree with asa01..it's really hard to make out details from sketchy scenes. X_x However, I think the building and ice could do with more tones and shadows to give it more depth. I really like the sky/clouds and mist though, it created a frozen atmosphere well.
I think this wallpaper is very special. From the preview image to the full sixe picture it gives me the impression of being perfect. Though the color combination is not my personal fav, yet in this wall every drop of color makes it way too cool ^^
I haven't seen a lot of wallpapers with castles and that makes it even more unique ( you actually gave me an idea about the third wall i am planning on doing XD)
Last but not least i must admit that you both make a wonderful team, it's clearly seen in the result of this piece. Thank you kindly for this and it will surely be desktoped +Fav

I < 3333 the fog effect and the clouds you made! The scene is just so wintry, it's almost exactly how I imagined that scene to be. The ice is a little flat but it's still gorgeous.
This is a nice one. I know my favorite part in this wallpaper is kinda weird but, I love the fog thingy. ^^ Or is it a smog? o_O LOL xD just kidding... I love it coz, it was put nicely and not that thick and its not that thin. Just good. The floating castle is good too, just the road or staircase (whatever!) is kinda weird for me. It looks like it was made up of asphalt, but its ok. Wait! A floating castle?! O_O Well, just the top left corner of the wallpaper bothers me somehow. It is quite bright and the ice (I think) is almost unnoticeable. Maybe a little, just little, grayish color will be nice. ^^ But overall, its a good wallpaper.
