This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I've spent a couple of days now working on this, the longest part being the extraction process. I'm really happy with how this wall turned out and I absolutely love the scan I used. I plan on using it again not only for another wall but my next layout at well. ^_^

She was my favorite character in the anime and she is smokin', you made her body look flawless that is the real highlight of the wall I mean it just glows and her face looks radiant, I like the background I think she blends in very nicely the edges are very smooth. it's looks great Nice work B+
Never seen the serie, but the character looks really cool and sexy :P and matches really nicely with the created background only dissapointment is it isn´t made in widescreen for 1440x900 would be a bonus extra
but I love the BG ancient style sortof like with the dragon in it :D
A a little more color harmony with the BG would be nice and she is a "little bit too much" oriented to the left. On other hand a very good wallpaper. The extraction is done well and I also don't mind the resolution as the previous user :P
Kan-u Unchou~ She's one of the more stunning characters from Ikkitousen. Nearly anything related to the series is something I wanna take a quick glimpse at.
I'm on the same boat with the previous comments. This would look fantastic with a widescreen version. Let's start from the top (2560x1600) and go from there. It's the only thing stopping me from inserting this and your other wall into my fav-bin.
I choose this one from the "same-character" duo. The dragon looks perfectly, even if I don't like ecchi the character is very dynamic and blends well with the background.

This is one of my favorite images of my dearest Kan-u! It's great that someone used it for a wall. I like the background colors and Kan-u looks great of course. ^_^
