This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
The reason why is if I make the thread, one of the other threads wont be on the main page. Only 10 can be there. The only unneeded thread was the freelancer thread. Besides, Eternal isn't a house. only a title.

What I did to it was paint it and play with the colors to make it blend with the background.
The background was made from a stock photo by playing with some filters, gradients, overlays and textures.
I also used a few grunge brushes over the background and vector.
The cracks on the wall were done by brushes also, credit goes to redheadstock at DA for the cracks brushes.
The shadows were created with some shading and the burn tool. The shadow was also done shading a duplicate of the scan.

Well i'm not sure about the scan itself probably because i'm not a fan of Karin but i will admit that the lighting and effects are superb. Its really really awesome, you did a great job.

The wall looks sort of unbalanced, and the character doesn't seem to fit well with the background because the bg is in black and white while the girl is in color. o_O
You combine very well the background with the vector, this character is a bit weird, she has dual personality, she is very serious but when she sees sasuke gets complety crazy .

I was waiting for this wallpaper to come out ^.^ Though I'm still not too fond of the vector because of the lack of details, I must admit that you did a great job blending it in with the background. The shadows and the cracks look awesome too~
The background fits perfectly with the character - in style. But not in color. As Bernie said, is clearly back-white, while she is colorful (even when the colors aren't too strong)
So if she where black-white too, could be a little better.
But still a good wallpaper.

Loved the lightning effect of the windown cell, its really awsome. The position of the character was very smart, it almost looks like a real picture!
As far as perspective goes, I think you've positioned the character well. As fas as lighting goes, you should have followed the stock a bit further and should have added more light to the character. As fas as effects go, I'm generally not into using the default ps effects to make the stock look more anime like. I think you should edit them in another manner by painting vectoring or even smudging the stock. Keep it up. :3 If you need anything, I'm here.
