This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
My objective, when I made this wallpaper, was create the cutest Loveless's wallpaper.
I think I don't still realize my objective, but I'll try more times.
The finished wallpaper took one week, because I had to clean the image, and I didn't know how to do this. Image extracted from the artbook Your Eyes Only. And the brushs are from http://www.brusheezy.com/ and http://www.deviantart.com/
I think it's this. And sorry, my English is too bad.
Do you mean that it's vectored or extracted? Because it doesn't seem like a vector to me xDD Maybe you should undo the filters you used on the image of Ritsuka...the outlines look kinda weird
Besides, the background is too empty, that wouldn't do for a nice wallpaper. Try using more brushes or maybe add some text.
The colors are nice and cute! and it's textless. ^^ love the concept.
but the outline of the character seem jag. i made a guess you were using Wizard Wand Tool. try to use Polygonal Lasso Tool to extract and Eraser Tool to smoothen the lines.
one more thing. if you wish to submit please put your signature, so we'll know it's yours. or you can just read the FAQ

but the outline of the character seems jag. i made a guess (that you're using Photoshop and) that you were using Magic Wand tool to extract him. i advice you to use Polygonal Lasso Tool to extract images, it's safer that way and use Eraser Tool to smoothen out the jags or unwanted/leftovers.
