This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Nah, I randomly found some time since the week was mainly calm and the weather mainly stormy so I was mainly at home. That's why I made so many walls recently. Many of them were only unfinished though.
I loved this scan even if it was a bit dirty and covered in the "scan stuff". It was one of the most powerful and beautiful scans I downloaded here.
So I would like to say thanks to ~paulx for the addition.

And I needed to practice my lineart, so I decided to make it this way.
You don't need to know how many layers I had or what did I do firstly since it's boring and I don't believe someone would be interested in such stuff.

Those fine lines are ust pleasing to look at. I'm also glad you wnet for the black- white theme. One thing i think you could have done a lil better are the eyes. It's all about the eyes in this pic, so you should add a lil more detail to it.

Awesome as hell, but the sig should be small and normal, this fancy letters spoil the climax ;] really, great vectoring, i think greyserg would be happy with it :D
The hair is excellent! Everything looks great except the eyes (which are still good), for which the lineart seems rather blocky compared to the delicate details of the hair and background. There's something too solid about the black lines on them and the eyebrows that makes them look a bit out of place against the style of the rest of the wall. That's my only issue with this wall, which is otherwise wonderful. Thanks for sharing it.
This is an amazing wallpaper. From far away it looks only normal. But when I clicked on it everything came alive.
Thee details are absolutely amazing. Like the detail in her eye. Wow m jaw drop im not even kidding. It looks so deep and fully of life despite the gray.
Her hair looks almost real. The strokes you used are perfect.

i would work on the eyelashes more.. they look a bit undetailed and plain comparing with the rest.. add some multiple shades there and it would look great..

Everything is so soft. ^_^ I love it all...a very creepy feeling with her staring like that. XD Your skills truly show through, and this was worth it. Wow... I have no idea how you did that, but it sure looks great! The hair and eyes are simply fantastic. The fact that it's just blacks, whites, and grays makes it even more powerful, in my opinion. Awesome work!
