This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Hi Guys :D
its me with new wallpaper yays xD
well.. kiki's my favorite anime thats why i've made a wallpaper of it,because the anime is great and i like it so much! ^^
now i'll tell ya about the wallpaper : first of all here's the original scan that i've worked on it and make it vector :
i start vectoring kiki's line with the pen-tool and then i've coloured it and tooks me alot of my time , now about the background: i've added mountains and birds and rain and fog and i've made the clouds by myself with the pen-tool and sumdge-tool together and when i finished i've added texture and changed the colours.
i hope you guys love it!
~Enjoy~ ;D
Nice vectoring. Like this one too. lol I think Kiki is a funny name.
Keep up the good vectoring (Maybe in future the anime companies will hire you to do this work)
Woa, awesome vector^^
Hey, she looks very enjoying the rain, ahahaha, you gave a fit title, wonderful rain^^hehehe, the most awseme from the wallie, i think the BG, it kinda makes me remember sumone, ahahaha
Btw, keep up the good work, AG-chan^^
Ohh seems like you tried out a new idea.Cause its definatly differnt from your other wallpapers. The background looks great the clouds and the mountains. But i have a problem towards the birds and the characterrs chin area.Well the birds are too low =_= lol and well you made the chin a bit too wide.Looks as if it were swollen.Lol you should have made it round. But indeed a great wallpaper.
Fave++ to encourage you ^^

Clearly something else now as usual and it turned out very well, AG. The vectors is good (I expected nothing less from you) and it matched pretty good with the background.
Very good use of the Smudging Tool, it look like painted and also the rain is very well made.
Gonna fav it.

It's a lovely wall paper I to am a HUGE fan of Kiki, I just think it would look better if she were in a brighter setting the rain you did is great don't get me wrong I just think happy and sunny fit her better. The clouds are puffy and soft I like that a lot I think it's a good wall just needs a bit of extra detail then it will be perfect B+
Roxas told me to give it a look but I had no idea it'll be Kiki,
she's like the greatest anime girl (no pun intended) EVER!!!!!
Oh yes it's a favorite for sure, not only is it a Kiki wall but it is extremely well done.
I'm very proud of your work, good job! No other words I can find to praise you even further.

Clouds and rains arround her are very soft. They are covering her cute face. Althogh it is raining day colors are not gloomy. I like bright raining days.
The vector is good, but the sides of some parts are little too light, as big said, some shading could help. the birds are good as well, but i agree with aki, they might look better higher. for the most part the clouds are well done, but in some spots you over did it with the smudge tool, as in, just went a little farther than you should, which makes some spots look a little funny. the rain and fog are nice, though i would personally lessen the fog.
there is, however, a long brown spot on the bottom of the wall that is inexplicable. not so bad for pc user, since the toolbar covers it up, but it could be visible on macs.
It looks totally different from the original scan. The original scan looks cheerful, happy.. The wallpaper is not.. Somehow, her face smiling seems contradicting to the atmosphere.. Maybe its only me seeing that.. Nice work nonetheless. Keep it up.
