Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
First things first, I know that this is not my best work. I just wanted to make a wallpaper after my exams to relax. I had a scan in mind, and basically turned the black and violet scan into this wallpaper. This is not really what I wanted to do for the first time, but I'm sutisfied with the end. Chii as Galaxy, in the bg the point are other galaxys. (This "universum mania" come from my mother, she went to a astronomy-club, she is always so happy if she could find something in the sky, and she always want to show it to me too. :) ).
First thing I did was choose the scan, make the outlines, color the skin and hair, and then I used brushes and textures for her clothes.
Hardest part: the coloring.

You must have had a few hours patching up that "high quality" scan,
but I really like the outcome, and the blueish coloring too!

so anyway, the blanket has a very interesting design, like it
the ornament on her head feels a lil bit uncalled for though
the middle finger on her right hand needs fixing real badly and so does the index finger
