Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Update: Made both the background and Rino's outlines a little bit darker.
Something was up with all the revisions and it never changed it to the updated version even after 2 hours, so I just deleted the old version..
My newest wallpaper. This was a side project of my side project's side project. I've never played White Clarity before, because I'm not really into dating sims. But this girl, Rino, is one of the most prettiest girls ever imo... Hence the title: Angel. Simple, but it gets the message across...
Anyways, I used this scan. I vectored the line art on Rino and painted the rest of her (hair, skin, clothes, etc.). Except for the clothes shading...those are gradients. I found an art nouveau picture online and vectored it for the frame. I was having trouble deciding on what color scheme to use. This is what the original border looked like (don't make fun of how disorganized my layers are, lol, they are usually never that disorganized). I got the vector and border done in about 6 hours, but I spent about another 2-3 hours trying to figure out a color scheme that went well together and what to do with the background inside the frame. I left the original moon, but I cloned out the feathers and added some stars. Nothing big...
Oh yeah...just like Rino in the game, I also have a ferret. Her name is Casie. Isn't she just the cutest little girl ever?! 12 lol.
Looks brilliant. It is much better now with the reduced amount of brightness.

You've done a great job on the design too. The dainty flowers really compliments the girls feminine and soft personality. Im glad you changed the borders to a monotone color. It looks better than the colored version. ;D On the whole, it's a nice, simple, and clean wall. And most importantly it's purple!! Lol. xD Therefore to my favs it goes! =)
Oh and can you make a textureless 1280X800 version for me? =O
I LOVE what you've done with this. Perfection isn't strong enough. Lovely isn't either. It's just... incredible. Great choices with the colors and balances.
