This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
heres my first wall i made the bg with clouds blurs and lighting effects
and some brushes and then i made the two lines on his leg with pen tool
i made another version with some souls
EDIT:my bad forgot to say the vector is from pana
First thing I'd comment on is that if it was 1920x1200 or along the line I'd prolly be using it on my desktop by now, to bad ^^;
Secondly; Lovely work really. I would have preferred the soul-version of the wall if you had given all the souls a little individuality, good idea and thinking making alternative versions.
The lines along his leg add a certain something, I'm glad you added it. The background is simple, personally I like lots of detail but this one is good; and I know a lot of people prefer less detail than me so not gonna argue with you there. The brushes are just about right, they add depth and character yet stays in the background and doesn't steal focus.
next time you use someones vector please credit them for the time and effort they put into it
and let people know that you were not the one who created it :)
