This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
@Damo: Well when I click on it to sign it in, it takes a while to load and then a message appears saying "click troubleshoot and we'll repair the problem" Doesn't tell me what the problem is after.

Maybe some of you still remember my Sanji wall and how I was complaining and bitching about the lineart in my description. So I was browsing the One Piece scan section again because I was a little bored and I found this awesome scan. I love vectoring clean lineart, it's so much less frustrating and I really like doing spontaneous stuff too.
I tried to recreate the style of my other wall, so you have lots of texture and little shading. It even comes with another Murakami quote, this time it's not from a book but something he may have said in an interview. (really no idea found it on the net) XD
This wall is pretty simple but I really love it a lot, I already told you that I'm a fangirl on the inside, right? From all the One Piece guys Sanji's by far my favourite.
The textures were taken from Bashcorpo again, the font was taken from Dafont.com.
For the fans of colourful, cracktastic walls I've prepared a happy rainbow smoke version: 1920x1200 | 1600x1200 | 1280x1024

Well I'm making this wall my 1000th comment ^o^ I love the textures and his devilish grin, not a big fan of one piece but dang did you make him look sexy, also the detailing in the smoke and the transition between colors is just plan sweet. Over all I think this wallpaper is fantastic, it draws you in and makes you crave a cig (even if you don't want one) so turn up the juice and see what shakes loose :D A++ and a fav

Love the simple vector. It's clean and too the point. The whole theme of this wallpaper is kinda deep, dark, and ummmmmm...scary. I really like the texture in the background.

I myself have gotten a little tired of One Piece over the years,and multiple manga volumes and anime episodes...but deep down, I'm still a Sanji fan. So, love the simple, gritty looking style of this. Great work.

Oh wow!! This is really amazing. You vectored that scan so incredibly well, picking up all the differently sized strokes...it's quite beautiful. Sanji is love, and this wallpaper is love. XD The colors you chose are great! It's a mellow wallpaper, and I adore the textures you used. You were very creative with the alignment of the text with the smoke and all, too. Wonderful piece. Love what you did to the original scan. Such lovely smoke with calm yet not-so-boring colors. Great victor as well. Though I wish if the background's color was a tad darker, but this is still one lovely wall.
Lovely, glad to see some toned-down wallpapers like this, very neutral and pleasant to the eye yet not dull at all. Good idea and craftsmanship. I like the style with detailed vector and texture-y fill~
