Description…This paper took about 5days of working and most of time (3days) was in extracting cause the scan was too large (7800x3000) with fixing also
And last 2 day it was just making the background and putting some texts
I used…About 4 brushes, one character scan from some forum, with some texture
The style… was just simple
By using…PhotoShop CS3 Extended

Anyways,I don't like the red and black pattern in the left...the red stands out too much...maybe purple would look better,to match his clothes...

I like the gray side but I think the black side looks weird and I'm not really sure why you did it that way.I think it should've all been gray,either way is not too bad for your first wall.
The handsome and the rose... It's wonderful combination. His smiling face is very cool and clean. Folds and shadow over his dress and face is natural. Your sence about them is excellent.

For a first wallpaper, this is honestly amazing! You picked and coordinated the backgrounds well, which is something that I've seen some people who have made far more not do. The vector is done nicely, but I think maybe a little more should be done to the image next time? Maybe get a little bit more adventurous and make the image a black/white/red/gray scheme just like the background, I honestly think that would look absolutely fabulous. Good job!
