As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. It happens ^^ I think tagging a scan or a wall should give some papers. People would be more prompt to add them.

Hi there,

I was watching a bit of Samurai Champloo and felt like representing my boy Mugen!
I was planning on making him walk out of a sunrise but I saw it had been done so I changed tack and went for a scorched earth, flame look. Then added lots of noise and grads to make it look dirty and rough (which suits his fighting technique). Then I felt that his sword needed pimpin', so I created a sort of flamey smokey thing. Hope you enjoy.

this wall is very nice^^= simple and well done and i love ♥ mugen!! 8)E emoticon the colors represents him very well! you should had put a kanji in the center, it would be nicer \o/ maybe the "mugen" kanji, that means "infinity"

It's very interesting.
I like the painting and effects. I'm a big fan of grunge and I think you caught the grungey style of mugen very nicely.
Did you vector that scan or just extract? It's kinda hard for me to tell. Either way it's done very nicely.

Wow, I love it... Instant fave. Colours, and just the general Mugen-ness... Fantastic. Deserves way more than a C+ as it is at time of comment in my opinion but that's just me :P

Mugen looks crazy in this pic. perfect haha It looks great and I really like your choice of colors. This looks like it would make a good sig. The only thing I could think of changing from this is making the colors a bit darker tinted. Mugen isn't exactly the "brightest" character haha But regardless this is still a great wall. Thanks for it!
