As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
Everytime I listen to Long dream, it reminds me of Shiki . Maybe that could be her theme song (?). Oh, and don't forget "Transformers". That song really reminds me of Beat. (the remix of the song also remids me of Linkin Park for some unknown reason).
@BCB Enough to have the gist of you two minxes, but nothing deeper. @$Sashi How are you tonight? @~Loleta So catchy, I always loved it. Leah is great! Long Dream is great too.
I wasn't sure if this was acceptable but in case
I've added clothes to the girl since the first one is without
clothes.
I vectored this original from a screen cap I saw, it gave me an idea
and I made my own characters following the poses from the screencap.
The vector took about 3 days only because I was becoming slow during the outline.
Back ground took me one day to do, added some patterns on the
wall for a more comfortable look. Window and moon with clouds, lighting
and all was made by me, the whole thing was vectored/painted.
The lighting was a bit tricky since it's a dark scene but I didn't want to make
it completely dark although it probably would have been better but then
it would have seemed like less work for me. I made it light enough to see the
work but dark enough for the wall and atmosphere.
The other version is without clothes and is 1280x800
When I click to expand it the wall to the normal size, I end up linking to the version that has no clothing. I like it ^^ But, just a heads up for ya. Either way, I saved the version that they didn't have cloths, haha. I won't be reposing it anywhere.
AP is all about sharing your ero work!! I'll go save this on my other comp...
Everything else aside, the drawing is fantastic...the vector looks fabulous. True, adding clothes is a good idea (but for completely different reason than what you think, mind you), because it will give you an opportunity to further show off vectoring/drawing/design skills.
Now the foreground and middleground:
It nicely employs the space you have, so that while the wall isn't boring due to emptiness, it also isn't to cluttered. The patterns for the room walls are also pretty good...again, interesting, yet not too much.
Now the moonlight is okay, but the window frame, especially the moonlight's reflection on it, looks dull and static compared to the rest of your wallpaper. That said, I would like to see some more work with lighting, lighting effects, and overall more dynamic photoshop magic with how light plays into the wall. Because as you can see, it's a wonderful drawing/design and a lovely wallpaper, but the entire scene is all in one static light covering, without any variation.
I wrote a lot because I think this is a nice wall that deserves the attention ;)

Heeeyyy! I like this wallpaper, I also like the characters created by other people ... I think I will download the version without clothes, ( "Shhh ..." for my personal collection)
Ara, ecchi wall desu ^^ It is linking to the version without clothes; I'm not sure why ^^ Although the no-clothes version would probably be accepted here.
"Anata ga hoshii"..."I want you", ne? You did a good job with the vectoring, as expected since all your originals are great ^^ Although the guy looks a bit scared (and maybe he is, with such a pretty girl coming after him :o)
I love the reflection in the window. Although perhaps they should put come curtains up XD
The guy looks a lot like Code Geass or CLAMP people, heh. Your vectoring is nice and clean. I like the starry sky outside the window. I don`t understand the expressions of the characters. Without the bodies, I would say the girl looks like she`s going to cry and the guy looks worried for her, but obviously they`re just supposed to be shy. That`s ecchi for ya 8P Anyway, I have a few suggestions for you 8)
I think the blush on the girl looks more like a rash, because it's dark and right under the eye and there's not enough on the cheek. Perhaps if you moved the blush down and made it rounder, it would be better.
Also, I think using solid blocks of black and white takes away from the realness of the scene. As a general rule for scenic type art, solid black should not be used because nothing in the world is pure black, and will most likely make the art piece look like it has a deep hole where the black is used. I don`t think there`s a hole problem with the characters, but the wall and window sill look rather flat and should have a little more detail.
The dark spots on the characters make them look like they may be under something like a tree. I think it would look better if they didn`t have those spots on shadow on them, but I`m not sure if that would make them look flat or something.
I like it, Kit-chan! Your style in drawing resembles CLAMP, especially in the boy. Good job with this, your vectoring is flourishing to original art now~ ^^
Somehow this reminds me of my Night attack wallpaper, the one with two girls doing the naughty in the night.
this one is of course, a few leagues above that shallow attempt of course, this is good, the colors are great, the usual/
Best bit is the lighting from the moon out there, it really gives a romantic feel

Even if I can’t see you, I want to trace back over our memories and feel that same happiness."
