After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
I played Persona 4 and I have Persona 3 ~FES edition, but I haven't played it yet. I liked both but I wish they had the option to include the Japanese voices...they had a all-star seiyuu cast.
I should restate a few things. It isn't a major overall, but it is nearest to the original release that the States has had access to without importing. So if you like Persona pick it up.
This is the updated and improved version of my round 2 submission for Gidder's Pool Party... I didn't do so well with the no texture, yes pattern guideline haha. I also ran into a lot of trouble with the background colors for this wall... thanks to potat0rs and gids for being my post-contest submission "KEEL THE GRAY" color police xD I also stole a leaf out of Gid's book for the wall title...
...I actually really liked the vector of the girl and the leaves when I was working on this, but I don't think I did the vector justice at all with regards to background/wall purposes :E
I think this wallpaper has all my favo elements in it: strong design, clean layout, lyrical organic lines, colour, contrast, style, and themed! Overall, very eye catching and evokes a pleasing response. It is my new desktop background! I'm not so in love with the gradient effect on the right corner though, but it's a minor point.

: E No words can describe the love that I am feeling for this wall. I think... that this is, by far, my favourite piece out of all the wallpapers that you have ever done o____o < 3 (and that's saying a lot, considering that I love each and every single one of your walls DDD:)
This is absolutely beautiful - not even conceptually speaking, but - the vector itself is just stunning as always ~ Clear, crisp colours with clean cut outlines < 3 and I love the way that you often use pastel-esque type colours while the final result always ends up being so strong and so bold despite the lightness of the colours used. I love the blues and the greens that you used in this piece, accented by the soft grays of the cage and browns in the flower bulb.
While the green gradient that comes out from the right side of wall does bother me ever the slightest, looking at it a bit more, I find it very aesthetically appealing how it contributes to the transition of colours throughout the entire piece. From right to left, the gradient carries your eyes to the leaves through the likeness of the colours and then softly transitions into the greenish blue birds that's colours grow bolder as they 'fly' to the left.
The scan that you chose was fantastic, and as I had mentioned, the vectoring is astounding. I love the way that you made the cage look more detailed in certain areas to emanate that antique feel to the metal; the way old birdcages usually look. and all the details in the leaves and the bulb, the vase, and even the girl's hair is just.. your vectoring has always been absolutely perfect, and this wall is no exception. Highlights and shadows are always placed in the most exact and precise places < 3 and even though this is from someone that doesn't wall or vector herself, my admiration for your skills surpasses that (my) flaw x ]
The incorporation of the birds is very well executed and ingenious, having been taken from such a differently styled scan. As always, this wall, like all your other walls, is elegant ~ both artistically and conceptually. Needless to say, I love this < 3 and I shall continue to await further new and upcoming pieces :3 (from you) x3
It's real pretty and it feels very surreal too. I love it how the leaves looked like they're gradually changing into birds. It really confers the theme freedom. But I don't like how the cage just disappear to the right because somehow it made the whole thing look like it's just floating in the middle of nowhere. It's just a minor thing, though :p
I'm so faving thing because it's the best Nao Tukiji wall I've seen for awhile.

Wonderful done wallpaper absolutly right for my desktop at work.

Wow, simply wow.
I always loved the art of Nao Tukiji and vectoring this must have been hard cause of all the details in it. You did an amazing job and catched the main essence of the scan for your wallpaper. The title is absolutly perfect for this wall.
The vector is very clean and crisp, looks absolutly gorgeous. The birds are a nice add and work nice with the background and the vector. The fading colors in them and in the background soften the wall and now it looks really calm and soft. Absolutly right for my current mood.
Fav+ for this awesome wallpaper.
Kyuri mentioned just about everything I wanted to say.
this wallpaper leaves me breathless. it's conceptually unique, aesthetically beautiful, and best of all - clean and simple. It goes great on the desktop b/c it makes all my icons look less cluttered than they really are XD
I love the blue-green-yellow theme, and in my opinion the gradient looks nice (but don't take advice from me, I'm not a waller). Great job vectoring the scan and incorporating it in a cage like this - it really brings this wall to life.
The birds are a great touch too - they add just enough detail as necessary to fill out the blank space without making the wall look too cluttered or busy.
Wonderful job, thank you for sharing it with us!
I first thought that you painted it but after fullviewing it I realized that it's vectored. O:
Very nice work on design and concept and you captured "freedom" very well ;3
Flyin', I realize that you could probably wall a patch of dirt and I would still love it, but this is really quite exceptional, even amongst everything else you've ever walled. When I was thinking about "Connotations" I looked at Freedom and this is basically what I imagined in my mind. MIKE AND IKE, THEY THINK ALIKE OHOHOHO except I'm a walling flailer and you're like, you.
Yeah. Anyways, out of all the entires I've seen so far [like, 3] I like yours the most :D GO GO FLYIN. +fave.

Anyhow, girl/cage/leaves vectored from this awesome scan; birds stolen/vectored from this scan; invisible texture from devART.
