Anyway yesterday I've seen this movie and this last moment froze me... Screenshot.
I knew I just HAVE to wall this, but vectoring won't do the trick, so I repainted it~
(Yes, I wanted it to look like a painting..Like I almost always do XD)
So I toke my tablet and did this nice (I hope) wallpaper~ And I hope you like it.
I know Makoto (the girl) is a bit off, But I can't do a wallpaper with only bg XD
One last thing - I didn't do anything with the city cuz' I just think that it ruin the mood O.o
So live with it!

i know the little circles in the water are reflections from the city light'
so still kinda weird that its' there'
but if i was doing a wall lyke that' i would do the circles too' so it wouldn't look empty >.<

The sky looks awesome, and the multiple colors in the water looks just...
magnificent!

But i think it would have been better if you had painted in the city scape.
The Blue-ish lights emitting from the city will bring more life to your wall.
Lastly, I think the colors on the waters are too bright in the middle and then it gets darker further away. I know that u'r trying to imitate the screenshot, but mind you, that in the screenshot the water is being shadowed by the bridge and in your wall, there's no object and yet shadowed is cast.
Apart from those crits, your wall is pretty well done. =)
maybe you should add another something like some bright and shadow part on the char coz it looks a bit plain XD
