After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
I thought I was never going to finish this wallpaper because it was taking me so long. I had struggled with different possible looks before I settled on this one.
I thought this wallpaper would be pretty cool. I got the scan for the wallpaper from Anime Project Alliance. The original scan was spread over two pages and had words on top of parts of the image. There was also a cutoff down the middle of the scan since it was spread over 2 pages. It took me a while to reconstruct the cutoff part and to remove the words on top of the image.
I used the paintbrush tool to make the trees.
In total, it took me a little over a week or 16 hours in total to complete the wallpaper. There was a total of 84 layers in Photoshop.

Oh, I really like this one. Nice and bright, definitely brings a smile to my face when I look at it ^_^ I especially like the light blue mountains in the far background and the the nice sunburst behind the trees. You also did a great job with the trees, I think everything fits together perfectly! Great job!
Hm... I've seen a wallpaper like this before. But you did better and i like the way you put the text. A very lovely one. I'm gonna make it as a favorite one. Good job!!
Really nice FMA wallpaper, the feelings so fresh and lol reminds me of an early morning on a swiss autumn day XD cause the mountains in teh background seem engulfed in mist or fog O_O neways it's got a nice fresh breeze in it and theres nothing i could rant about. but somehow i think, if the scan would have been vectored it'd look better, just my opinion ^^ still +fav!
The idea is great and all but you should've cleaned the scan, it looks really bad. you can use this Tutorial: Cleaning scans but aside from that everything is really cool! i like the font you shose and the effect. B)
It's a brighter wall you make it ^^ By the way my only reproach is for the mountains on the last background...They've seems a little too erm...I don't find the word so...^^By the way it's a good work...Hope your beyond wallpapers are nice too ^^
Very good wallpaper :) you created a very warm scene. looking at it one get this warm feeling. perfect use of colors. the sun in the background is really delicate and subtle. i like the way that the sun shines through the trees :) the birds are also very realistic and suit the overall concept but as raymi already pointed out there is smth wrong with the mountains in the horizon. they are not that realistic looking and kind of spoil the overall effect.
I love this! It's a very warm and nice wall. You created a very nice atmosphere. Awesome job fixing up the scan. On the trees, some of the leaf stems are hanging out in the middle of no where. It looks as if they're attached to the tree backwards. o_o; Or they're all shedding off at the same time. xD That's the only problem I have. Oh, great text!
This is so pretty...I love it. The image really strikes a cord somewhere. Suh pretty. The bkgd is pretty good. I love the image the most. That alone carries this wall for me. :love:
