After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Work Gf and pretty nmuch work. my comp has been down for three months just bought this laptop on black friday. So I'm using all the free wi fi i can get
@☆Bantam You are correct it is a robot guised as a kitten. Do you not see it stare down in shame? It knows it can never be a true kitten, regardless it holds the key to your firmware update.
I took a scan from air gear and i colorised it.
I didn't know what to do in back, I think I will take another time the scan and I will do another wallpaper better.
But I want your opinion, tell me what you would do ?
I like the colors overall, tho kururu's skin pigment seems a bit dark. And yea, the bg doesnt fit the scan very well. Looks nice so far aside from the bg
Keep the girl and the machine she is sitting on.Then delete the background.Make a new document.And find some cloud brushes from deviantart.After finding some.Use differnt cloud brushes to make a sky background to make the scan fit in it.The overall effect should be like that the girl and the machine are in mid-air ^^.Also dont just use blue colour for the clouds.U can try out differnt colour (suppose red for sunset.grey or some war time clouds).It doesnt matter :D

Just recoloring isn't enough. The main part is lacking quality. Without a serious cleaning (best would be to vector in full) cannot be accepted. And your signature is missing. Is a gallery requirement.
Ya many of the lines are blurry, but i don't find it that major. The bg fitting problem is more important, as people has mentioned, it does not work well. A bg up in the sky, with clouds in bot and clear sky on top. *like 25% bot cloud 75% top clear sky
I like the colours and the vectoring,or how oyu want to call it - coloring but well the background feels a little bit too much,the scan you used is already pretty complex.From my point of view you have to remove tha background and leave the character and the machine and change a little bit more the color on her,she doesnțt seem so natural,I donțt mind darker skins because tained skins look nice too but this shade of her skin does not feel natural,like I said it before.

Anyway I think,you should make her smaller in the background and add a background that looks like the space,like the sky like other said and oyu can use many colours too or to make something even more simplistic and to put the accent on her,I am not really sure how should I describe what it is in my mind,I can just say that I have something in mind with less colors anyway.She does not need a really complicated background since the scan already seems interesting and pretty detailed,focus more on the vectoring and yeah try the advice from others to look on deviantart too,people get many idea from there!
About the background: even though it seems not to fit, it has some agreement with the topic and the colors... I like it. You can change it, the ideas stated here are good: space, sky, underwater, a blue techno-matrix or whatever you like.
Add your signature even if it is submitted to Session Zero, and improve the image quality in order to be accepted.
