Just painted this for fun... and i've just noticed i haven't submitted on this site in almost 2 years and i was wondering why i had difficulties figuring out how to submit something.

It first began as just a portrait of her and then i extended the canvas and added a background. the raven was a last minute addon.

this was painted entirely in Corel Painter X with my wacom intuos 3.

Gorgeous paint work. The colors, the softness... I especially love her hair and the bird... The highlighted reds blend perfectly and add great depth and dimension to such a simplistic/blended wall. Nice work! <3 emoticon

Lovely painting. One niggly little aspect I would have liked to see is for the wings to have the same detail as the character. Doing that would focus the piece as a whole better, as the wings blend into the soft bg a bit too much, giving it a rather incomplete look.

Otherwise, there's nothing that I really call a 'flaw' of any sort. The color composition is nicely done, as well as the layout. And your paint work is splendid. +fav
