As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Hello everyone!
This is a gift for Kashi-chan. She helped me a lot with my userpage and with French X3 Kashi-chan is a great friend who won't turn you down when you need her. Thanks a bunch =_=
(it's a pretty old one and Kashi loved it lots *happy*)

I used this scan. Thank you Saikusa for posting it.

Polka dots ftw!
I loved the idea of multiple colored outlines and shadows with dots.
I vectored the image and this is what I got...

If you don't know what Lamento is (and you're a yaoi fan): Lamento is a hardcore boy love game, released in 2006 by our almighty Nitro+. Containing mostly of cat boys, sword fighting and smex, Lamento is a delight for every fan-girl.

I went for the funky look, since Kashi-chan likes it, and I found the perfect scan to go with it. I know I overused textures... but I like it :3
I used an earth texture for the noise effect and paper texture.

If anyone knows when/if Lamento will be translated from Japanese please allow me to witness the date. I really wanna play it =_=

Oh, this is love all the way~ I adore Lamento's art. Ah, yaoi goodness! This wallpaper is so lovely! Your vector is amazing; I love how you have a shadow behind some of the outlines like in the eyes. The colors are so bright, and I think the polk-dots add a great texture. So pretty pretty! This deserves more love. ♥ Definitely faving. Beautiful!!

mmmm not bad..
clean vector.. and color wise combination..
but...
lacks design order.. things look a bit randomly placed.. and messy to the eyes..
i mean designs can be messy and look good.. but this one is like.. ideas a bit spread over the page, bet you can do much more with that scan ^^
and also.. reminds me a lot to `blue-green wallies xP ...
i know the scan is like that.. but try to find your own style and then you can change it the way you want.. and make it different...
i bet it will work out greater ^^

OMG! the coloring on the wallpaper is awesome! i love colors and how it shades into another color. it's really pretty. though it looks a bit plain, it's very sophisticated. i love it when an artwork looks plain but really it's beautiful! wonderful wallpaper. hope to see more wallpaper from you soon!

I like the simplicity of the style and the refreshing look, the vector is elegant and the text is great. Though none of the resolution fits my current screen, I'm still thrilled to have this wonderful wallpaper. Nice job!
