This wallpaper is quite similar to my KAMPAI!! wallpaper in terms of the methods used to make it and the choice in image.

I originally took this image from an episode of Tengen, although I can't remember which one:

I then traced and painted it with use of my Wacom tablet in Photoshop. While I was blocking in the colours it struck me that I needed to make it more interesting. So I decided to add blue sky in Nia's hair and night sky over the black parts of the illustration, as Tengen has theme's about both.

Awesome. I really like what you did with the scan. This is one of the best Nia wallpapers I've seen so far. The color palette is somewhat simple, but it's complex at the same time. I love how you made her hair transparent with the nicely created sky too. Nice work. :)

Ah, I've seen this scan before, she looks like a boy to me in it :\
But the stlye and hair is very nice.

The clouds look nice, I think more blur would make them much better.

As for the trace job on the scan it looks very nicely
done, a bit bolded and not jagged but like bunchy lines.
But I know it's the style of the scan so it looks alright, but I think
that neat lines would have been better.

Well the way you were going with it was nice, though the outcome isn't to my taste. The clouds don't seem to flow with the rest of the piece and some parts of it are a little bit LQ. The way you enhanced the colors was nice, overall I think the wallpaper could use a little more to it.

Same abstract, as all Gurren Lagann graphics. All Gainax movies have own stile and kind of main line in the same time. GL takes the best of this main simplify, rises concentration of it per screen pixel, an gets… Fejér ))) I think here high concentration of Gainax stile too. It’s about 200% or more ))

I just got into watching Tengen Toppa so I haven't gotten to her yet (I know, I've been living under a rock). I like the day/night dynamic. One thing that could improve it would be to maybe make the "night" on her body more apparent - maybe more stars or perhaps a galaxy (maybe a milky way or something that spirals), that woulfd be pretty cool. Overall, excellent work! this definitely going into my faves pile!
