After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Lildevil: Submitttt it!
Bern: but-but, I don't wannnnna D8

Bern: ;-; M-my weakness... ok ok fine. D:

Yeah, so the monkeys in Okami are great. Decided to wall them together. Anyways, since I've always failed horribly at extracting scans I tried it again this one time, using my tablet instead. Wow, it was so much easier doing it with my tablet... It was a lot of fun, I must say.
I extracted the monkeys and the clouds, since the scans were fairly clean already, redrew in some of the clouds that were cutoff. I used some ancient looking Japanese paintings for those mountains in the background (found using Google) so it would fit properly with the theme. I tried to put in a temple, but scratched that idea because it didn't look that great to me, so, hey mountains! next best thing! I Slapped in some Japanese symbols for epic awesomness, put in an old paper texture and screwed around with image adjustments and hue and saturation, brightness/contrast for a while and ta-da! \o/
Dedicated to my friends lildevil8200, and LenasLover: Lildevil for being so awesumz at painting in PS with a mouse! D8 You're on your way, girl, and I hope you get better soon! And LenasLover for being Teh Ownage Mastah and a proud supporter of our act against stupidly stupid people!
This is to both of you for being great, supportive friends when I need them. < 3
As usual: Comments critique & favs always appreciated.
YAY you submitted it! i love it but you already know that ^_^ i love the colours and i think the extraction looks really good! you did an awesome job touching up the clouds and i really like the mountains i think it was a better idea to put them in then the temple. everything ties in very nicely it's one of my faves so far i think and i'm very happy i convinced you to submit this! cookies work everytime! great work it's a download a fave and goes straight to my desktop
*hugs*thank you for the wall!
and thank you for your compliment on my painting ^_^ and all the ideas and suggestions..it makes learning easier and less frustrating!
Wow, so many walls recently. Didn't I say acid was bad for you? Bad Bern! We will not get to da choppa! \o\
Anyway, moving onto the wall, I must say I absolutely love this wall and I even though I don't own Okami, it sure as heck makes me want to go out and get it. Those monkeys are full of awesomeness. As for the rest of it, eh, seen better. I'M JOKING! <_<
It's an absolutely gorgeous wall and the mountains are exceptionally well done and beautiful piece of creative thinking there. A very nice touch upon it all and fits very nicely with the general flow of the wall and its originating subject. To be quite honest with you, I may go as far to say this is one of my favorite walls ever. Well done, seriously well done and I'm not saying that out of bias. It's really good.
How lucky are Lil and Becca to get a dedication. *Shakes the fist of envy at them*
Anyway, excellent wall Bern and remember drugs are bad mmkay?
OHMYGAWD! *chokes on air* This is bee-yooh-tee-fool Cori! =3
The texture works, like you said ^__^ This wallpaper needs it =D The Japanese symbols work well as well =) It looks very...how should I say it... important/ancient/genuine/onomnom? xD
Fantastic work, that's all I can say =D I'm not a particular fan of monkeys (so sue me), but you made these monkeys look...uh...important and divine, compared to the other more flea-eating, tree-climbing types.
Brilliant repainting as usual Cori, do keep it up my friend, your wallpapers are always worth my time, and this just proves that your effort has paid off.
*spams you with cookies, gummybears and anything sugar loaded* Now go make anudda! x3

I just have seen your two new awesome wallies, and you are again out with a new one. I cannot comment that fast, as you make them ;3
The scene is kinda weird (never had to do something with Okami - I know my bad), but nothing against your quality of work. Nice texturing on it.

Hey Bernouli,
This wall is hella awesome! I dont know anything about Okami (apart from the artworks are fabtabulous). The scan extraction is excellent and all the components work really well together, and the paper texture turns it into a kick ass wall.
Not sure what would be better as pets though, a drunken panda or three musical monkeys (a real toughie!) lol
Thanks for sharing and def a new fav!

Oh wow this is amazing :D I love Okami one of the best games ever!
I think I found the textures one of the coolest parts because it looks so much like paper without being to obvious, I also like that the colors are soft and not to over barring and I think it's just a fun wall to look at I mean who doesn't love to see monkeys dancing and singing XD
I can tell you worked really hard on it but also that you had a lot of fun it shows in how flawless your work is. This shows a different side of the game and is relaxing at the same time. I love it really great work A+ and a fav :DDDDD
I really like the wallscroll paper feel of it. That texture and cloud style really brings it all together and makes the paper feel very real. Nice job!

Looks nice, though the bottom has too much of a grainy texture in my opinion. If it were me I would have done something to fix that, maybe a topaz or anything really. Though I know you were going for the "ancient" look, it doesn't look too ancient, it looks more along the lines of dirty to me (I believe there's a difference in the two at least), but that's just what I see.
I like the composition/design of the wall overall. Okami has such lovely art.
Though, I think you should have vectored because I think the scans look a little distinctly low quality. It kindof goes with the old worn painting look but I think it stands out a bit too much the edges of some of the monkeys.
I like this wallpaper, but my criticism is of your non-widescreen sizes. I downloaded one, and in order to achieve the effect, you had stretched the picture vertically, distorting the picture and its excellent triptych balance. If you can't make a different ratio by either cropping or top-and-bottom borders, it's better to just stick with widescreen.
