As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
Not thinking of the extent of movie fluff. I'm thinking to the extent of a common place thug. It is more the concept of preventing criminal stupidity from causing more proublems.
I was a little hesitant to submit this since I checked out the gallery and saw a few other walls that use the same vector, but I thought I'd just throw this into the mix anyways since I've been working on it for a while. I actually had the basic idea of the layout while I was doing my other Shana wall, but I left it on the backburner for a bit.
Let's see, first off thank you ~SFX2501 for the Shana vector. The arcane circle thingy was made from scratch, that was a pain. The flames were also by hand, er, mouse. The color of the background is supposed to represent a fuzetsu, so I hope it turned out ok. Oh, and actually the BG pic was ripped and edited from a Melty Blood bin file. On another note, I almost threw this in the Haruhi section, got confused for a sec, lol.
Really nice wall, it has a great mood to it which is very hard to create.
The arcane circle looks great with the flames and everything.
All the pieces work really well together.

Well, good thing you submitted it cause I like it! Shana is so cute ^_^ That magic circle is awesome... I'm trying to do something like that myself on a wallpaper but it's not coming out good :( The little ghost's are cute too. Good stuff!

No need to say much about the Shana vector, it is always done so nicely, I also liked the blue lighting you used on the character (it makes her look real good, and the background 3D)

The background is um... I dunno quite dull I suppose but it is supposed to represent a Fuzetsu after all, lol
In my opinion though it should be a bit redder, and the shadows a bit darker, but by all means this is still a very nice background
So, I suppose this for now~

AAhhhh. this wall worths becaouse of the background, the magic circle of shana is amazing, and you've done it, good work, I think it was a lot of hours making all this little details, but at the end all the efforts are not in vane, this is a real good work, the colors, the lights and the characters are alive, congrat...

I like how you played with lighting and color it really makes it unique, the real highlight is how you just had fun with it and that you took so much time drawing that free hand, but you had fun with it and it shows. So many great walls go unnoticed
