After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
This is actually a wallpaper I made 7 weeks ago, but I'm very proud of it, and it was well recieved over at Minitokyo, so I might as well share it with you all here.
All of the textures (save for the wall and her skin) were created entirely by me. The textures I usually make seem to be techno-ish or cyber-punk. They're also usually quite bright.
At the time, I chose the color scheme because I thought the colors went well together, but recently I found out that there is a Dell computer add that uses the same shades of green, maroon and blue. XD
I wanted to leave the skin gray, to draw the viewer's eye towards the texture-ized... other pieces.
I used the same color scheme on the smoke, to make it seem like... magic smoke or something. Or maybe... she's smoking something she probably shouldn't be smoking, and it's making her see those colors in her mind. :o

I like that you kept the background simple so the colours stand out more. :)
The skin is great being just a tad lighter than the background. Nice lines too!
This one is awesome, i haven't seen something like that in a long while (since Ish and some of the others went off here.. :P) i like it. every detail of it, and especially the pixel patterns. nice.
Who am I kidding, a wall this good coming from out of nowhere, classy sexy, classy made, classy everything needs praise, and is worthy of some degree of recommendation.
Not just the lines here, the color is retro, the scheme is made of awesome, it was as if this wallpaper was made for the just win.
I think this easily makes my favorite wallpaper of the week for its artistic purity and skills invested.
I don't remember what I said over at MT, but I can't stop thinking about how drastically you changed the original scan! It's like you made something totally new from it!
Nice concept, but maybe you should include less details and make everyone imagine what they want :) I think she's a bit preoccupied, thinking about some difficult decision she has to make.
Anyway, you know how much I love it, so I'm gonna fav it here too :3
Interesting retro style. May work a little plain, but the coloring is very fine. Btw don't advertise too much smoking, kids are also on AP, lol ;3

Well I love the color combinations and the texture, it's cool that you went for a different concept than the original scan, the different unexpected patterns found in the smoke and her clothing add a unique touch to everything, I think you should of added color to her fingernails just to take it a bit further, but other than that, it's a really rocking wall, kudos for originality, great work~

I adore the bright techno colors you used, and I like how you used them sparingly. :3 Although the image is a bit sexed up, it'd done in a classy way. I love it. *faves* Great job! This is a perfect example of a great wallpaper with an ironic title; I've never met a woman with no underwear and knee high stockings who wasn't that kind of girl ;)
