This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
One of my much older wallpapers. It is a really simple wallpaper.
The bg is pretty much a stock photo from Science Photo Library (it had starfishes on them! xD).
I think I was mucking around with it until I was satisfied with the gradient tool and declared it finished. =_="
I must admit that it isn't the best walls I've done and looked carefully, looks somewhat lacking in many aspects. Still I just like the simplicity of this wall.
Ahah you are also submitting back old wallies eh? XD I found it actually painful to choose whether or not resubmitting some and realized most of them needed a touch up... This one is pretty but needs a lil more blending with the chara and bg to make it look top-notched. :)
I feel so calm when I look at this wall. I like how there isn't much original color in the scan but the background is so colorful. Makes it unique, simple, and beautiful. Nicely done *_*
I think it's a great wallpaper. The colors are gorgeous, and that's an excellent background. It gives the wallpaper a look of "The Lady In The Lake" feel. The use of light is very nice as well.

I think the lens flare detracts though but it is beautiful.
Come state your claim with the rest of the Rabid Fangirls!
But it's still nice, I also made a wallpaper using the very same scan :3
