After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Oh I definitely don't subscribe to any particular scene. It just happens to be the genre I listen to my most. One of all time favorite bands being Splashdown.
I pretty much am across all genres. I have so much music I can listen to music nonstop for an entire year without hearing a repeat. Though I seem to spend more time with indie music and local bands.
"PLEASE FILL VIEW" finally it's over, crap i'm so tired way too tired, my fingers have gone numb it will be a miracle if i dont pass out before i finish typing this discription. well i've been trying out different types of vectoring lately so i decided to experiment a little with this wall, i haven't used this vector style before so i hope it doesn't look too weird. The original scan was from this original scan i vectored it an changed some features like the lips, eyes, fingers, e.t.c. The whole vectoing was really troublesome and needless to say it took me about 3 weeks. As for the bg i wanted to make her sink into it rather than just laying on it so i hope it came out right. well that it i hope you guys like it and comments, critques and favs will be appreciated. *passes out and starts drooling*
Whoa, I really like your vector and changes to the colour and general composition.
Your "shading" vector layers add a nice touch; consider, though, not to have the edges of these vector layers stand out too much. For example, take her leg: the separation of the different shades of colour stand out too much, so maybe blend them into each other a little bit.
This paper is going excellently so far, but I think it could use some paper-wide textures. The solid color thing looks very clean, but unfinished. This might also smooth out what Hofodomo said about the shading. Give the cloth some patterns, the sheets some pattern/textures as well... etc.
I agree with the comment about the stripeyness of the shading, especially on the legs.
However, I think part of it is to do with the colours you've used - they don't seem to form a logical sequence, with one almost being blue and another being very pink. i think if you simply adjust the colours so that they're a simple sequence it will work better.
A way to determine the colours to use would be to take the colour you want to start with and the one you want to end with. Then, in a separate document do a linear gradient between the two. Then, if you want to do 4 stripes you use the colour pick to pick the colours at about one-third and two-thirds distance (plus the start and end colours, obviously makes 4 bands).
Although, tbh, you may want to rethink the colours in that respect anyway - you've got some extremely light shades going to very dark ones so it will always look strippy unless you use loads of shades. Try experimenting with less sever shifts - make the "to" and "from" colours closer on the pallette.
An alternative technique would be not to use separately coloured layers. Instead, if you make the shade layers increasing darknessess of grey and then set them all to overlay/hardlight/softlight or whatever you will achieve a similar uniform effect.
Looks like some fantastic work! Aside from what others have said, the main things that stand out to me are:
1. The way the dress is draped over her leg and the angle that the leg is coming out looks really odd. Like almost unnatural, especialy combined with the way she is leaning.
2. I almost feel that she is too centered in the wallpaper, since she is leaning right, I think the whole piece might look more comfortable if she was shifted left slightly.
I love how you changed her expression and she does look like she is sinking into the bed. Although the sheets, her hair and her dress are similar colors, it all works. Really nice job.

I really like where this wall is going though!
Awesome job so far, it's looking great.

Nothing wrong stands out in addition to other comments have said, apart from them very good work.
