Well then here is my new wallpaper!

Program: Photoshop CS
Brushes: The brushes I used were done by *LadyVictoire and Bazza, both devian artists.
Layers: This has about 30 layers.
Time: About 3-4 hours
Theme: Well I did my best to create an atmosphere of magic and peace where Rei is trying to hide who she is and blend in among the beauty of her surroundings.

I hope you all like it! ^_^

I'll give you kudos for the colorful background.
From what I see, the left side is much brighter than the left. Maybe if you balanced it out a bit, it could have looked better. Character needs to be cleaned up a bit, also.
The font doesn't seem to suit the wallpaper. Maybe if you touched it up a bit more?
Also, isn't it suppose to be Rei Ayanami?

The colors are great! but rei is a little bit blurred...
and the background is a little...I don't know how to say... (I'm not THAT good with english) ahn... it don't match?
but in general it's good o.O

Well i can't really say it has much colors here, but it makes it beautiful and sumhow colorful s well...
really great wallie, like it alot :)
but i think it has a bit too much of those 'fireflies' around that made da pic looked blur and made da butterflies don't shine at all...
anyways, congrats on such a brilliant wallpaper :)

Nice butterfly... did you made it from brushes ?? I can't see the garden side in this wallie... maybe too much brushes ?? But, it's quite good... I like it. You choose a good drawing with nice coat :) thanks for making this beauty wallpaper.

I must say I like this wallpaper, even though it has some minor glitches ^^ I mean the scan isn't properly touched up. But that doesn't harm the final effect on the viewer IMO, since the atmosphere of magic is very clear I think. Good work ^^

This is what i call a real piece or work. Normally i see the extracted picture laying on top of the effects but this one is totally blended in nicely. The color fits in nicely and the fairy lights seem to be around Rei. Other than the picture being a little blurry, i have no complains =)

Aw, I love it, especially the little butterflies. One thing though - it seems like the background to the left of the character is too overpowering.

Too bright and busy for such a gloomy scan, I would suggest using a image of Rei where she look upbeat.
