After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Well, this is finally my first wallpaper here
i made the vector a year ago and didnt knew what to do with it since then.
just recently i had some little inspiration and decided to pick it up again.
its kept plain and simple, i hope you like it as much as i do
This idea is so different and beautiful. I really like the vector, it looks sharp and clean and the concept is unique, blue never looked so good. Your wallpaper is simply refreshing to look at and I adore every aspect of it. Nicely done!
A bit unfortunate that the lower left design is smudged as it contrasts against the cleanliness of the character. Keeping the design unsmudged would give an overall cleaner and crisper look. The subtle white shadows could use a bit more upping on the opacity to make it more visible.
Rather than using gradients, it would be interesting to experiment on using subtle color layers. That would break the monotony associated with gradients. An example would be as the below.
If you observe the left area, the transition from light gray to white is not based on gradients, but on multiple layers, each having a slightly different hue.
With the background using layer hues and the character image's color remaining as it is, it would be interesting to see how it turns out. Might or might not work, it is something that is worth experimenting with.
I have really nothing to say apart from why having her hair left out. It bothers me a lot but it's still a good wall. Also the background seems to be lacking of something.
Simple blue is clear and natural. Asians regard a blue color as a simbol of justice. Her calm eyes are very impressive. She can fill them with her justice?
I truly do adore the blue, hey, that sort of rhymed haha, I'm being a little poetic today, good for me. What can I say about this wallpaper other than the fact that it's uniquely stunning with an interesting twist and style in the vector. It's outstanding! I think it was nice of you to leave her eyes and hair in the norm, it makes the wallpaper that much more intriguing. This is definitely one of the best Bamboo Blade wallpaper I've seen, thank you for sharing it.
I really like the concept but personally i would say that maybe some brushes in the same style as the scan would be really great since the background looks rather empty
What a nice idea! the character looks really good (great vector), and I like the font. But I am agreeing with Dias here, a subtle hue change on multiple layers would look good also, maybe?
Apart from that it is a really nice wallpaper and concept.
Great job!
Joining to the opinion of Dias, the simple blue gradient doesn't does too much service here, having less elements on the wallpaper. Also the white outline style vs to the colored eyes + hair vector clashes a bit with each other. Anyways nice taht somebody walled this great series, which seems to a bit unnoticed. Too bad, cause it deserves more attention.
Aha I still remember giving advices when you posted it on the forum about this vector long long time ago : )
I think it's a bit of waste, would be good to complete the colouring imo. Didn't quite like how it's done right now, it feels like a quick and hasty job to cover up the effort to do the colouring...

Youre wrong
i already colored the whole thing a long time ago (if i recall right, i posted the colored version on the forum somewhere)
but i felt like doing it this way
well, its your opinion, and iam grateful for every reasonable critic here
and thanks to all other posters, i will work it over and present a v2 of this wall in the future
i will try to obey your tips. lets see what we get :)
Insteresting concept..
though as said above.. the left side doesnt match..
the brush you used there doesnt follow the vector style or quality...
i dont really mind having the eyes and hair colored.. but this would match more if you had played with text near the character.. using different text styles and color variations.. i think that would look cool... and more if you add θDias advise for the background..
anyway this is a very nice start for a getting a cool wallpaper.. you just need to work a bit more on the final design..
hope to see more!
keep up the good work ^^
