After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Finally! It's done. I can't tell you how long this took to complete. I believe about 3 months. I had to find the right scans, and other elements to make it work.
Well, this idea came to me because Lelouch likes to play chess like it's some kind of poker game, so I decided to make him play poker since he likes to gamble with lives and whatnot. Anyways, Lelouch ends up with a Royal Flush, according to the ending of R2. I used this pattern for each character because Suzaku survived Lelouch but Lelouch had control over the other characters either by using his Geass or as Zero. Nunnally comes as Queen because she lead the world after the Rebellion and Prince Schneizel was under Zero's control, therefore under her control and Kallen was under everyone, but still an important character.
I want to thank all of the vector artists' for their awesome work. I'm glad that someone did the scans as vectors, it made it easier for me. Thanks!
*NOTE* I didn't add C.C. because to me she's like a wild card (Joker) and since Jokers aren't used in poker she wasn't added. I had considered adding her as one when I read the first 4 comments that were posted. I might consider it. I will also consider making it widescreen as well. Like I said it took some time to do this. I do appreciate all comments and favs though.
11.28.08 - Per fan request. I 've added C.C. and made it into a widescreen. I think that the widescreen one looks better. I might just start going wide on my new wallpapers.
OMG... excelent. just for Code Geass. main characters are great. nunnally, zero, suzaku, really well designed, the back, the poker cards, jejeje really like me a lot, besides this is a good vector, you have a lot imaginatio.

Awesome concept. I really love your idea for this. I also thought C.C. was important too though/ Oh well, awesome work. The only thing that doesn't look right is the red thingie. The edges of the red circle aren't very straight, so it kinda looks weird to me. Other then that though I really love this wall. The concept is SO great!
I'm amazed. A great idea with excellent execution we have here (in my opinion at least). The overall shadow works well, the cards are authentic while remaining toon-like and thus not too realistic (that's good!). The ice tea or whatever that is in the cup .. seems to be quite authentic too. I love the background since it is just so awesomely detailed.
The only (very little) thing that bothers me is the resolution ... I beg you :d could you make a widescreen version of this wallpaper? This one is simply awesome. +fav
It's a good idea, but i don't know if i don't have imagination or what because that thing on the corner looks like a tennis ball XD, just kidding. thanks for sharing.
Personally I wish the set of images you chose were a little more...coherent. Now they don't quite look like the same set of cards...I am sure there are Geass images out there meant to look like sets, like portrait posters and such. Also because the vectors are done by different people you can obviously tell the difference in style. Kallen's vector was done to reflect the original image while others were enhanced with colored lines. Like I said...it's about coherent.
The table cloth seems...a little out of Lelouch's taste in furniture. Made him look like he's in a low income home rather than some place fancy. The glass of whine could be done better too...it's not hard to look up what does a glass of whine look like online or even just take a picture yourself. Also the currency looks like Japanese yen? Or at least some of them do anyways because I KNOW Japanese yens don't have 500 bills...Considering "Japan" was taken over by Britannia in the series, I think it'd suite the mood better if you use European bills or even US dollars instead. Again, crumbled bills may look real but out of Lelouch's taste...
Sorry it's all criticism but the idea is nice, it's just that there are always room for improvements. And if you wish to comply to the fans' request above of adding C.C., I'd say she'd be a nice add as Joker. Maybe on the side, but not part of the royal flush.
The concept is very interesting to me. Though, the texture on that red object looks out of place to me, on that note, the vectors also looks out of place on their respective cards, in terms of texture of course. The shadows that is cast is much too hard, unless there's some VERY direct light above him, a shadow with such strong edges is nearly impossible, unless the poker game is taking place outside in direct sunlight, but I don't think that you were going for that lol.
The vectoring by all of them is very cool,
the wallpaper has been done very nicely. it was hard to understand the red drink first of all.
the idea and the concept of the wallpaper is very cool!
