This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Arent they just the best couple :D

Yeh well, decided to do a half half wall,
had a couple of layers of Shaorana and Sakura so that they's glow along with the staff that i liquified and then radial blurred...
had a few dark clouds with a rainny night but yeh, the staff lights things up... i had complaints about it being too dark before and covering their faces so yeh... took that off.
then the text with blur and feather like things coming out of the staff, although i doubt thats wat its used for :P..
u might notice the feather like things turn pink on the right... no that was not an error... as someone suggested :D

anywayz, enjoy..

I like the effects of the light and katakana you used. But maybe you can make Sakura and Syaoran bigger? It seems like the focus of the wallpaper is on Syaoran's staff -.-;;; and it *should* have been on Syaoran and Sakura.

This is done well. The positioning could use a bit of adjusting, but everything looks good. The flare on the staff looks great.
This series has really good artwork, I need to check it out.
