As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
We should just give police satellite access. Let the criminal go rest some place and storm the building. Rather than 3 tons of car barreling around the streets at 100 mph with an unskilled driver behind the wheel.
You know when helicopters and SWAT teams aren't enough...Are car chases necessary? Maybe for some criminals, but most of the car chases are by stupid and scared people. Why not just send a helicopter up and start diverting traffic?
Basically, the original idea for the wallpaper came when i saw the Kanon 2006 op of a couple of kids running through some tall grass. Then I saw this pic from the AIR game and I thought of merging the two ideas :)
Note: the blurred out feel is because i saw a real pic in which the grass and background blurred out, leaving only the model in focus. I think it works well.
Update: Woah, I didn't realise this scan has been used like this before in the gallery. So much for original concept :( But heck. oh well. I put the effort to making it so might as well enjoy it ^^
Usually when I see grass on a wallpaper I cringe, because it's usually brushed, stiff, lifeless grass. I think you've done a spectacular job with the grass (how did you do that o_0), the floaties, and the whole scene in general.
Well, personally...I think you deserve a favourite on this one.
The preview looked appealing but the wallpaper is quite attractive. This is so dreamy it kind of displays the essence of a painting, the quality and refined beauty is simply astonishing. I like the modification of the grass, it looks sensational. I think that you thought this one out well and executed it exquisitely. Your wallpaper is very delightful and refreshing, wonderful work and thanks for sharing.
I've seen quite a lot of wallpapers with this scan... imo it's one of the best! I really like the way you made the grass and petals. The blur makes the whole backgroud seem to be in movement! Great job on this wall! Keep up the good work!
Wow, very nice pic!The background is so peacefull and serene, and it's very well made. The vector is high quality made, and the girl looks so pretty. Her flying hair is drawing graceful lines, and those flower petals adds more beauty to this wallpaper. Adding to my faves, you did a good job on this for your first wallpaper, congratulations~ ^-^

Lol, the second I saw this wall on the homepage I thought of Kanon 2006, so you did a great job merging your two ideas. The grass is definitely something new I haven't seen used with this scan, and I like the simplistic look.
You are not the first one who stuck with this breeze idea, but here is a wallers tip from someone who did 99 walls during the carreer of activity here.

I have to confess that i havent seen a grass like that in any wall...looks so fresh.
I also agree with you about that blur effect...gives the focus to the center and less distraction as the result.clouds are also good.
I just wish the resolution was bigger.too smal for me ^^'

This scan has been used and reused and it never gets old XD. I like how you made the grass blend in so well that it looks real :). It has a certain "glow" not sure how to describe it but it makes it look pretty overall. A fave from me :)
Her golden hair is flying in the wallpaper. It is drawing gentle wind in the sky and the field. Composition in her hidden face is very wonderful. It make her be more gorgeous.
