As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Being active is realy great since life is just going easy on me these days but I wonder how long this would continue .
Anyway,here you see my new wall.This was actually a black & white manga page.
I rarly read manga but well this was one of the very few mangas that got my attention and this scan is from Volume 1 and I liked it......
This was the first time I colored a manga page(I know art style is not great) and Im still new to digital painting and stuff but after all decided to give this a try.First did the lineart which was the easiest part.Then Coloring and painting took my whole day (12 hours).Colored this using my imagination( NO REFRENCE) and colors just came to my mind one after another.of course I chose the color range that would match the sunny and warm theme I chose for this wall.
At the end did tons of color adjustmens and also added some texters and patters and finally added the text and its effects.
I noticed that this manga has no wall so I'll take the initiation and open up its category with this wall.
Comment as much as you want since I realy want to know how I did in this.
Also FAVs are totally appreciated

At first i should say that I like this wall ^^ the colors you chose are great and really lovely but the hole picture is a little too bright in my opinion because, when I put it as BG ist was hard work with. But overall nice wall^^ and because asked for it +fav

At first sight, I have to say that the preview gave me false impression, but when I full-viewed the image, I really didn't imagine that it will be too incredibly cute!
I like the ambience of the wallpaper, it gives me a dreamy feeling~
The charaters look perfectly well drew, and colors, shadows, textures and luminosity look just amazing.
The placement of the title is good too, nice sparklies touch on it !

I have no idea where these characters are from but the enchanting display of affection and the charismatic vibrancy of the paper drew my attention at first glance, I simply could not resist going in for a closer look. Excellent job with the vectors, it’s very refined and detailed with an essence of flawlessness, I’m beginning to have a greater appreciation for wallers who are skilled in the art of vectoring, I understand that it can be very time consuming and takes quite the patience.
Lately I’ve been seeing quite a bit of papers that are in need of more progress, they seem very rushed and very unappealing so whenever I come across any papers with a high display of skills, work and dedication like this one, I try to make sure that I thank the creators for their hard work and their time for it is truly appreciated. I like the usage of colors shown here, you feel a sense of maturity in the paper while looking over it and it also expresses the situation of these two in a delightful way. This is a very lovely transformation from the scan. It's sweet, soft and just lovely to look at, fantastic work and thanks for sharing it!

Oh man... you really surprised me again! To me, the painting/colouring is pretty much perfect and the text is freaking awesome. Looking at this makes me wanna take out my tablet and start practicing digital painting! xD

Astounding vectoring, it's sharp clean and refreshing what more can I say? The lighting is great and the subtle use of colors are sublime. I think it's incredibly attractive, with just the right amount of passion, well at least for me anyway haha. The appearance looks quite simple but you can plainly see that it is far from that, this wallpaper does display a high level of quality and I know that it takes a lot of effort to produce such results. There are so many distinctive attributes to this wallpaper that I like and could go on about it forever but it's late here where I am so I will summarize the rest now. I saw this and liked it and wanted to share my two cents of how it made me feel. The overall impact that I got from this wallpaper is "admiration". It's definitely a favorite for me.
It's very well done. The colours are great and they really set the mood for the scene. Though to be frank I think that her uniform colour is a bit dull...But that's probably just me. The title not only fits the scene perfectly but also her entire personality about him. A very nice piece of work, well done.
