After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
This originally was made for our friend, `k1ru in celebrating her birthday back in September, and it still is. (OMG we are three months late) Sorry kiru, but at least we finished it, right?
Talking about the process, it all started early September when we decided to give this present to our lovely Kiru. But... as you people in AnimePaper may already know, we have not been as active at AnimePaper as before (because some real-life activities). So this wallpaper has been delayed for a looong time as we only met like once a week or so in MSN.
Anyway, moving on to the wallpaper, we thought that this wallpaper have to represent both of our style, simple and creative (`blue-green's) and scenic (°tida's). And so we searched for scans and scans and stumbled upon this unique scan of Yusuke Nakamura which both of us loved to wall. We have gone through a lot of ideas in the process. We even re-made almost all the part of the wallpaper because the new one look better.
Anyway, I hope this is not too long and before I end this, let me tell you guys that one of the idea on this wallpaper is thanks to Asian Kung-fu Generation who wrote the song, Mustang.

As for Peniko, I am enjoying the times we both discussed and made this wallpaper together. I hope I will get another chance to make another collaboration with you again.

though i would love to see the original scan to appreciate more what you did in here..
aside from that.. i can tell the text work is amazing.. peniko always does outstanding word works... the japanese text looks very cool
and the weird words on those things that look like buildings with the text on it... what an awesome effect!.. and the way you put the signs looks so stylish..

i also like a lot the watter drops on the right side making a conection back to the moon and clouds.. feels like this is a wallpaper that starts somewhere and goes back to the begining like a chain... all conected (mmm i better stop talking xD, starting to sound a bit crazy)

This is absolutely gorgeous. The two of you together working on Yusuke Nakamura: absolutely brilliant. Umbrellas in wallpapers usually kick up the style factor, and the slanted-ness of the BG really makes the wall stand out [I'd like it more if the entire wall was slanted, but oh well, you can't have it all].

Wow, a wall with the three frequently-used colors (which is blue, green, and pink), I'm not really a fan of the text, but still, the artwork itself stood still and stylish!
