As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

@`akiranyo: for VD #4 it's monochrome scans right ? I wonder if it would be good idea to accept vector of monochrome scan not submited on AP. What do you think ?

    A wallpaper I threw together with offical art from court-records.net.
    I've started replaying the second game and apollo justice at the same time. Heee just to kill some time during my winter break. Anyway, about the wall. I'm kinda worried about it being crowded. I tried to stick to simple ideas with the brush sets I downloaded from DA. I hope I did a good job though. I'm using this for myself currently and I think it's alright.

    Nice. But the extraction needs to be worked on a bit more as there are some areas which the outlines are jagged and "eaten up". As a result, the which outlines also suffer from the same jagged effect.

    Image lacks wallpaper signature as well.

    And the white swirlies do not really fit in due to its blurriness. Keeping it sharp and placing a silhouette behind it would be a much better option.

    Not sure about the red parts before the characters. It covering their space and without outlines don't matches with the rest. If you want keep add white stroke to it. Also what Dias said is on the place, the overall quality is not that good. Is not enough to past a render in, cleaning is also required. Plus low resolution and missing signature. 1440x900 for widescreen walls is the minimal requirement.

    Extraction aside, maybe you could consider putting and overlay over the chars to help may the colours a bit richer.

    and about the text and overall concept of the wall (this is just my frank opinion); the concept of making the characters say "play off" doesn't quite fit with the expressions of the chars themselves. the expressions of the characters are just too relaxed and playful when the expression really should be more of Phoenix's poker faced "Objection!" expressions. the feel i believe i should expect and the feel i get from this wall are just not coinciding. but the only way you could fix that is the revise the whole wallpaper, so just leave it to you.
