I got the idea for this one from an early promotional poster for last year's X-Files movie, I Want To Believe, where the shadows of Mulder and Scully formed an "X" in a patch of light. I thought the concept fits Haruhi quite well.

Love the concept. But I do agree with you there's something missing from the wall...it might be a bit too plain?
I don't know the story too well, but in this pic she looks like she's about to lead an army of evil creatures haha. Maybe you could make some creatures hiding around the shadows of that room, instead of closing it off with four walls. Just a suggestion ^^.

The wall is nice.. almost black and white. I have one problem though. I think you used inner light as a style feature of photoshop on the Haruhi-layer. It's a good choice to contrast the shadow and the light on her. However: her feets are standing on the shadow itself, yet they still show this bright inner border.
I'd suggest to copy her layer and apply a layer mask so that where the shadow starts this bright border is removed. It's easy I think, yet it would improve the wallpaper a little.

Our goddess is in the holy light in the dark shadow. Her power is flowing in the wallpaper with strong pride and confidence. Your sence in title is very wonderful. Her 'H' file is never ending.
