This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This was my third wallpaper for Minitokyo. Took me around 3 hours, I got the render from somewhere in Minitokyo. Baah I can't remember where lol. No moon in this wallpaper :'(. Hope you guys like it. Enjoy ^^!
Oh wow, this is really nice. I love the abstract backgroud of course, it's colorful and goes well with the scan. The extraction still needs some work, and part of the star in the corner is cut off, but other than that, I really like this! :D

Lovely use of space and color. I think I would have used a different grid around the character; something more grungy and less solid. But it's still seriously a gorgeous wall. Nice work!
Very nice background, but the image extraction is a bit pixelly, try not to use a hard brush to extract it maybe? and yea the one star is cut in half :(. but its a very good start!
Wow awesomely done effects here. its really attractive and so are the colors used here. it helps with the sexiness of this wallie. and the character suits the background.

The different patterns in the background go well with the colors. The signs, hive patterns, stars, and the cloudy-smoke stuff mixed with the purples and pinks are nicely blended together. Plus the chick is fine with those devil wings.
