As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. I can't stop my hands to make Soul Eater wall when I see new scan >.<

Maybe it the third version of this wall. First, it was hard choosing brushes..when I made first one,.. It wasn't that I need.. so I started again ><.. them the colors were hard choise.
51 layers, time 2-3 hours. Finally it is finished!

I totally love this scan.
Although I must admit, Maka's white dress seems a little out of place. =P

I agree that the white dress seems a little out of place, but since she's clearly running with a tough crowd, it makes her seem a little more badass. It also works with the graffiti, I think, since everything is so grunge but she's a little cleaner. It's a nice contrast. I love the composition of this wall, the brushes, the grunge, the graffiti. Excellent job!

I thought Maka is taller than Soul, but maybe she looks shorter here because she's in front? Other than that, I love the arrows, the background, and the title. I like Maka's white dress, actually.

This has a very nice grunge feel to it. I don't have a problem with the white dress, it has a nice texture to it and is a good highlight. I love the design and placement of the arrows and splatters. Nice job.

The arrows and splatters look really good together, also how they act as a highlight behind the text makes a cool effect and makes it stand out more. I also love the colors you chose, it just fits the scan/image.

I love the abstract-y background and all the colors, without making it overly bright. Maka's dress is a bit bright, in comparison to the rest of the scan, but I think you used brushes/colors well to make it... not as bright.
