As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Yep I'm here with another New all.A month ago I saw this scan
Imediately fell in love with the style and Decided to creat my own version of this.Maby the hardest Work So far for me since I'm not that experienced in digital painting yet.Text was taken from a poem I love alot.
Process was simple:Vectoring the Hair(Took lots of time and some parts were painted) + Painting,Painting,Painting,Painting,Painting..
Time:4 weeks(including breaks and pauses)
Layers:ALOT (PSD was over 150MB XD)
I liked the outcome and Hope You people do as well ^^
Consider this a New Year present for Bishi-fans (Im not a Bishi-fan myself though)

Really beautiful work, I like your coloring and shading better than the style in the original. I also like all the warm hues you added and the quality is just top notch! I'm not much of a bishie fan either, but I like this. :3
This is a truly lovely piece of work, it's so clean cut and smooth, very charming and just inspiring to look at. The choice of colors really sets the mood for the whole thing, the silvers whites and touch of pink mix so well together it's harmonious. The dreamy eyes off set his pale skin and make the whole thing glow angelically and the resolution lets you take it all in piece by piece, you combined a soft setting with sharp design, I would love to feature this wall. Amazing job A+ and a fav :)
I feel like I could stare at this wallpaper for ages and ages. There's something about it that just makes it very comfortable to look at. I rarely do, but I'm gonna download this one and put it in on my desktop for awhile.

A bit uncommon for your usual style, but it shows only how a good artist you are, showing great skills and result in a different style as well. Is defitely a very good piece, from some aspects maybe your best (not for me tough, for a simple reason, no ecchi/loli/moe girl on it...ehm...sorry mate, j/k). Anyways your painting changed the image from good to better and that is, whats the important here.

The most intriguing aspect of this paper is the smooth flow of colors and lighting effect. It's the most enchanting thing I've seen and thus drew my attention to it. The colors blend perfectly well together, even when looking at the thumbnail version, you can see the noticeable change of the color temperature. Finest example can be seen at the top of the protagonist head, then it proceeds to flow across his face. It's fascinating to see how you've mastered the colors and I think it's an impeccable way of crafting this astounding paper.
What could I possibly say to compliment this vector? It's flawless, clean, sharp and stunning. You've done a wonderful job with the presentation of this paper, I admire you skills and dedication. Thanks for gracing us with your art!

I absolutely love how it looks smooth and so soft, from the flower in his mouth to the finer details in his hair. I feel like I could never get something like this on Photoshop.
Don't know what to say, the vector is insanely amazing, the minimalistic colors make the best combination ever and its so stylish.
His eye is my favorite part, It's very captivating and the strong contrast in some areas and the fading effect in others are just gorgeous.
Really creative and beautiul, It totally hooks me to the wall and I think that I'm going to use it as my desktop for a long while... Fave for your glorious work, you're really the Lord Of Fiction !

Oh WOW this wall is amazing i absolutely love it.. the colours and lines and ..i just don't know how to say it all.. it's a fave and i'm downloading it ..i wish i could figure out how to say what i like about this..instead "amazing" and "great" just don't seem to cut it!
The body and the flower look extremely flat to me. Also, I think that you could have done a bit more with some parts of the hair (especially on the top) while maintaining the simplistic feel. Other than than, the rest is good.
