After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

About my Wall.
That guy - (o-o)^ is hot, mk.
I started this almost 4 weeks ago, when I saw the image in the recent scan submissions on Minitokyo, and I was like "*O* OMG, this is gold." .. For a face shot. >>;
But it didn't take 4 weeks, I'm just REALLY slow. It was like a max of 8-10 hours, I don't know, I don't set up a timer and time myself when I wall.. like some people seem to do.. >>;
Ok, now obviously, I gave him color! omgwtf! 8D He looks good when he's not being blue. *slaps her knee* Get it? Hur hur, I made a joke. I cleaned him in CS3, I used the color replacement tool to get an idea of what colors I wanted where and stuff, then moved it over to Painter X and cleaned it and smoothed it a little more by painting. (duh) I put some more detail in his eye, because the best part of anime is the eyes. x3 Eyes are so pretty!
I extended his hair to one side, and flipped the image, because I personally put my icons on the left side of my desktop, and I was planning on using this as my wallpaper. (Wtf, who uses their own made walls as their wallpaper?)
Painted the branch, omg, I know it sucks so bad. I Made it blurry because it's in the foreground. I blurred a couple sakura petals for that reason to, but with motion blur, like they're falling. And to go with the sakura flower by his mouth I painted in a few little petals around his outfit and one that seems to be floating off his head. Lastly, I painted a sky.
It's so generic, but it's pretty. =)

It would be safe to say that you should expect more revisions.. but I dunno. Just trying to make this wall look the best that it can. That's a branch?! Wow... yeah, no offense, but that does kinda suck. ^_^ If it wasn't for that branch this would be one of the best walls I've seen in a long while. Great job of painting! I'm truly impressed. Get rid of that branch/ugly blur and I'll even give you a fave.
Really awesome job on this wall, I was a huge fan of Luches version and I think you took it to a different level and showed a new perspective which is great. I like how this is more faded and has a more soft feminine touch, the painting and color choice is beautiful, I love the detail around the eyes and flower, and I think the brush work is flawless. Over all this is a fantastic work of art and is super smexy XD A+ and a fav .
Nice, Bern. It's just kinda like, "Oh, hey, another wall with this scan." D: But, yours is very very different! Since now he actually has a normal skin tone. *laugh* Which is cool! You used a different painting technique...I think...or at least it looks different to me. Aw, you got rid of that branch?? I looked at this earlier and noticed it, thinking it wasn't bad! And now you got rid of it. :/ Now I think the bg seems too plain. Maybe you should've had more sakura blossoms in back, too? I don't know. >< It just seems like there's too much blue everywhere. But it's still pretty.
Wow, I love how he looks with skin color. And the paintedness is nice! It was a good idea to flip it too, hehe. Now, I do have some critiques.
Since the original background was white, it looked OK for his hair to fade to white and get less detailed, but since you have an actual background, the dramatic lack of shading makes the top of his head look really flat, and the depth of the background becomes a bit confusing. The same goes for the strands of hair flying to the left and some on the right.
Speaking of the background, I think the color is too similar to his hair, so he doesn't really stand out. My suggestion would be to cut the flat part of his hair out or add details. Or you can make the sky grayer or cloudy (after all, he's feeling blue). Or a purple sunset sky could work but then the blue-whiteness of his hair would have to be changed OTL
I noticed that you colored his eyebrow as his skin. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but having skin-colored eyebrows makes me think he's made out of clay, haha.
And lastly, I think there should be more petals since sakura petals normally fall in masses. Since the sakura by his mouth is in good condition, it would have to mean that the petals are coming from somewhere else, but the few petals makes it look like only one or two other flowers are losing petals, and that makes me wonder why there are a couple of flowers in front of him. Also, having petals behind him would add depth.

Since the original background was white, it looked OK for his hair to fade to white and get less detailed, but since you have an actual background, the dramatic lack of shading makes the top of his head look really flat, and the depth of the background becomes a bit confusing.
