As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
I saw this in SZ~ It actually looks very good for a characterless wall. It's quite refreshing to see. I love those mountains, it looks like an ink painting. :]
I saw this paper when it was in Session Zero and thought it was too good for that division. I love the mountains and all the simplicity of it all.

Seems like a solid design, though i feel a slight bit of color might improve it, the black and white can make some nice images but on a characterless wall like this I don't know if it works better than color, I suggest adding a bit of color, perhaps faded natural colors to keep the focus on the sword, make the sword's colors (although black and white) stronger than the others (or make the other colors less strong than the sword currently is). Its a good wall but i feel its still missing something that could make it better.
Simplicity is a beauty. This wallpaper again shows it. Honestly speaking, if I compare it to other spectacular wallpapers, it won't hold much ground. But the simplicity of this wallpaper is what makes it unique.
Sword's a bit stark for the background - a bit more shading (like the mountains) could help it blend better with the background. The simplicity of the overall design is beautiful to behold though :D

Ok, I'v done a few versions on this wall and I really think this is the best one. It's plain and simple, as the very first version was as well.
