After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Innovative Conception, as the title is suggests i'm going to take a different route this time. Instead of spending a paragraph talking about the concept i want to see what other people's view of the concept is. Why conform everyone to the reason i made it. So drop a comment of what the wall means to you.
Now to the actual wall, very simple wall the whole thing probably took about 3 hours. There isn't anything too difficult as is with most of my walls, just the idea and the visual appeal. I've been wanting to make a wall like this for so long, but after not submitting anything lately, and working on a few other ones, watching the spirit gave me motivation to do this. Though i didn't like the movie, the visual cinematography was excellent. Either way this isn't a movie review, so all in all i hope everyone likes the wall.
Comments and fav's appreciated, always. Don't forget to put your interpretation of the wall.
Oh btw i know this will be asked since the characters are so small, but the sequence of characters is as follows going from left to right:
Hitsuguya, Renji, Ichigo, Hirako Shinji, and the man...Urahara
This wall looks really awesome. I love the background, did you use stock?
I can't really interpret anything from it, work hours always drain my creativity pretty much, sorry, perhaps some other time~
Wow what a beautiful wallpaper. Hmm... I think this wall is sort of like the different levels of the Soul Reapers and the others such as Urahara and Shinji and the rest. I see it as Ichicgo being the "One" to save them all and the rest being the support. It's an awesome concept, it's like their ready to do battle against Aizen and the Arrancar. Good job overall.

The visual appeal is there, no doubt about it. nothing like an orange sunset/sunrise, back lighting, and silhouettes. :P although i'm going to consciously leave out my interpretation even though you asked for it... i don't feel like i know enough about bleach (what? yeah, i live under a rock. lol. i just don't ride on the biggest bandwagons of them all) for my interpretation to be of any value. xD;;
with regards to the wall itself, i do have a few comments and critiques.
the clouds look filtered to me and that's a bit of a minus. although perhaps you are trying to take away the stock photo quality of it, painting is the better option. proportionally speaking, those guys are gigantic. o__o even though the buildings are silhouettes and you can't see the exact height of each level, it's still possible to judge that these guys are all several storeys tall. (but it doesn't change the fact that this is a nice concept.)
with the silhouettes...well, usually, they aren't solidly defined black shapes. the light should be able to diffract around the edges. that is, the edges should be brighter/have lower opacity than the main body of silhouette. it's kind of like how the clouds are brighter around the edges. but yeah, showing diffraction would have significantly increased the visual impact of this wall. i regret that i don't have a good example on hand to show you. hang on... ok, with this one, it's not a perfect example for your case, but you can see the effect with the guy's shoulder.
again, nice concept. you've got pretty good "vision" in terms of setting up a scene. just some technical stuff that could be improved upon. sorry for the lengthy ramble and if i come across as too critical or something. xP good work.
In his defense I don't think he was going for realism >_> It looks surreal to me, love the color of the sky. My only gripe is I wish it extended all the way to the top of the image, but I'm assuming that space is for icons (even if it was colored and you put icons on it, I don't think it would detract from the image at all). Looks nice man.
Colors of thhe sunset in the sky is very silent and graceful. Soft sunlight and clear shadow are drawing wonderful harmony and strong contrast. They are covering two warriors' fight on the edge.
I'm not liking this wall the focal point would be the characters i'd say but their presence is too Subtle and they don't stand out much, perhaps that was teh point, but since their shadows blend in exactly with the buildings it seems awakward to me. The birds off to the side are so large seem to overshadow the rest of the image imo.
Really like the idea and mood of the wallpaper. However, the characters are a bit too small at a glance -- I'll be sporting the wallpaper to see how it looks, but my initial feeling is that they blend too much into the background b/c they're so small.
Another awesome Bleach wall, you're really too good at these. This is one of your best yet, I love the realism of the background clouds matched with the slight abstraction of the characters on the buildings, and the lighting is just plain epic. Great job overall!

Hm, it's good but the character choices seem a bit too random. I don't recall a point in the series where these characters were all together at a single point. If it was something like all the arrancar characters then it'd make sense, but as it is right now it just seems odd.
Wow this is beautiful. I love how they are standing on top of the skyscrapers, like they have finally conquered something. The sunrise seems to imply that too.

There aren't too many Bleach walls that are this awesome. Good eye. :)
It's so dynamic.
I like the simplicity.
