After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I violated one of my principles in making this wallpaper - Never make wallpapers out of scans which has already been used before. The reason: the scan is so mysteriously attractive that I can't help but fall in love with it~ Never mind that the guy looks like a pedophile to me xD

I tried to make it have as much difference as I could manage =o
This wallpaper is fairly simple to make - Just the vector, a pattern for the background, text and an amount of painting, on background and on vector (which I would not have done if not for chibiMisao's and Warrior's advice) ^_^
Inspiration for the title comes from the Da Vinci Code movie, in which this line appeared in a dialogue xD So, are you afraid of the dark?
P.S: It's because of scans like this that I keep getting sidetracked in my wallpaper making - I still have a Touhou, two Vampire Knights and goodness knows how many more =D

Oooh you've finally uploaded this! It looks a lot better now compared to the previous version you showed me. It's nice to see that the shading worked out nicely on the roses. ;D I also love the slight hues of red/pink in the background. Overall nice work on an abstract wallpaper. \o/

One tiny thing bothers me though... you focused so much on symmetry, but the text does color throws it off... I think the text should either be gray closest to them or farthest from them. :O

I think its really cool, i love the design, the background pattern is beautiful, the roses are a great detail, it transmits a dark feeling n.n i really loves it, its a pity its not at least 1280x1024 not fair..

To be honest...I really like the Simplicity of THE BG yet It looks attractive ^^
Vector is as usual great and I Actually like that symmetricalness.Rosses fit the Wall perfectly and That relatively weak red hue on the whole wall helps alot to blend everything together ^^.
