As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
I decided that I have been pestering ShiNN and Warrior enough =D Big thanks to both of them for helping me on this wallpaper, from the quality, composition to the final product ^.^
I made a process kind of thing, but it might not be so accurate because after that, I made more changes to the wallpaper ^_^" Basically, I extracted the scan, cut out the borders, added some stock images for the 'window', painted the walls and floor and then layered multiple textures against them again. I want to make the chair seem as though it's floating, hence the weird reflection. Besides, the highest quality of the scan I could find is this, so forgive me for the quality, and the hair might look yucky too o_O
If you look really hard, you can see clouds in the wall (no pun intended xD) to suit the title, and because of the statement: Lightning is the female form of Cloud x) Literature has taught me to disguise many things in one picture so that people can slowly dig them out. Especially poems, but why am I talking about them now? As for the title 'Lightning: Between Heaven and Earth', is to make the wallpaper seem grand, lol. (Heaven is the sky behind her, while earth is the ground she's floating on.)
Assignments are coming soon - the next few wallpapers you see from me will probably be birthday walls ^.^

I appreciate what you've done with the scan and background - the colors and focus of the wall are good. And yea, I agree that some parts of the scan are still kinda iffy in quality, but you did what you could do. :)

Gret wallpaper just thing that the lightnings in the background are a bit to blurry because the scan i more blurrier then the lightnings but except that its a amazing work i really liove the roome here great work

The only thing I don't like however is the inverted lightning duplicate. The lighting is a nice touch, but it would have been better if one of the lighting effect was different to the other lightning effect on the other side.

The bg in this one is beautifully done yukina. more of that stone effect you like to make i see. but you're good at it. i like the effects you put behind her too, though i have to agree with alien about the lightning.
there are some minor blending issues with the scan in the bg, but nothing anyone besides me would say anything about. all-in-all i have to agree that this is one of your best walls yet.
you keep improving like this and i won't be able to critique you anymore. then i'll just have to move on to the next prospective CW.
