This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Thanks Kalico for adding the category :P
Well this was my last wall before taking an indefinitely indefinite hiatus. I reCGed Asumi and Lion-san and then worked in those trees I love making. Then clouds and a whopping planet. Again, this was when planets were the in thing :P
Hey...if you really like planets...whose to stop you from makin em? ^_-. unless your only lookin to please tis community, planets are out. If you plan on pleasing the other million .....planets are still in lol.
anyway...yeah...i think i commented on tis wall b4...@_@.... If not. well.....I think the wall is nicely made. Im liken them trees =)! and yeah...the planets a gud addition >xD

It seems day to me but the planets and moon are sooo visibly in the sky. Makes it unrealistic. A simpler approach would be better cuase you already got a good scan ^.^
Nice wallpaper, i really love the background. Although the characters are quite simple, it seems to fit well with the background.Like what Orphan said, it really does give someone a calm and peacful feeling.
Thanks for making this wallpaper. It's really captures the main themes of one of my favorite series, that even in suffering, there must always be hope. It's like distilled optimism on my desktop!
Concept wise... This walls the best you ever made (or atleast posted on AP xD )
It's original, attracting and the best part is that the whole thing is beautiful. Although it's been 3 months but when i reviewed all the entries you've posted this caught my eye.
The balance between blue-white-green is so perfectly adjusted.
This will i surely have as my desktop for a while.
Great Job and favorite.
You know i love your work Furikuu. What, you didn't? You do now xD
I cant say how amazing this wallpaper is. The trees are just perfect. I dont know how you blended the clouds in with the sky/planets/stars but they go very well together. What really makes me like this wallpaper is the planet. You really dont see A PLANET outside like in the sky and where I love, there is never really any stars at all. So Yeah I really like this wallpaper and good job with the signature. You can't even tell its there because its blended in with the green. So yeah this really is a blissful wallpaper I love it and its on my desktop -_-.
I must say this piece is beautiful. The BG and the re-cg'd scan is wonderful ^_^. I love the name you picked for this piece as well. I've never heard of this anime but it looks interesting and cute. Sort of like Miyazaki's work. I must add this gorgeous piece to my favorites. Thanks for sharing ;).
