As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
When I saw this Nana Komatsu image on D&H I liked it so much, so I immediately vectored it! After this, I considered it would be nice to put into the wallpaper also a Nana Osaki image, with a waterlily between them.
I wanted an Osaki scan similar to the Komatsu image, i.e. in profile and wearing an hat.
I found only this image with these requirements, but it was too small for a good and clear vector -__- so I used my scan as reference for many elements on N.Osaki head ;)

Other details inspired/vectored from various images (AP gallery: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4).
Background copied from this image, swirls from two CLAMP illustration ( image 1 - image 2).

Good vectoring, and nice choice of colors, yay~ :) Nana and Hachi blend into the background pretty well. But I think it might look better if they stand out of the picture just a little bit more.
I might just say, AGAIN, that I like the whole purple-ish color scheme you've chosen here. :D

esp the middle part
but i think the colors could be darker with more of a contrast so it's not as tiring to the eyes
