After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
I really like the painting you've done on the car! The soft blends and highlights work really nicely and make the hood look pretty~ (if cars can be pretty haha).
Nice shading and general hues. The background is done very well. The glows and lighting on the boy's pants are also done very nicely.
Mmm.. the shades on the boy's shirt and his hair is a little mismatching of the wall's general soft colors in my opinion, but it's only minor :)
Overall, great work ^^

Wow, I can really see the effort you've put into this, great job!
Here are a few tips to make it the scene more effective, I hope you don't see this as harsh criticism. I realized you've vectored a scene from a manga page and basically coloured it. You took out the shadowing on the bottom right and left to change the lighting, a very good choice. However, doing that should also change the shadowing in the garage. The manga basically focuses on the car, but your wallpaper focuses on two subjects. Uh... what I mean to say is that your car's shadow is a bit too heavy. If you wanted to stress on the idea of 'friendship', adding some old parts or etc. in the background could have made the scene more nostalgic.
In any case, it's a great effort!
On a side note, have you tried adding textures to your walls? I took a brief look at your gallery and thought that adding textures might give your wallpapers some more spice. If you know what I mean...
Great work on colorise this manga image! You chance the hood color of the car to black. A detalist fan can complain, being that the black hood is for the new model, with the engine bought for bunta on Initial D 2st stage (anime).
Wow..turning some black and white picture into something like this??U put a lot of effort there..I salute to you...but...why it didn't come in widescreen ratio...T.T

Droool,
That's some kick-ass re-CG'ing you did there. The colors, paint technique and soft edges look absolutely fantastic on the car. In fact, it's the best looking car I've ever seen in a painted image.
Takumi's hair and t-shirt look a bit odd, but no real complaints there.
The one thing that is keeping this wall from being sub-zero cool is something I can't fully blame on you, but the perspective isn't right at all. I know you 'just' re-cg'ed the scan, so the perspective there is already off. I think though that you could've made that wooden plate/fence against the wall align with the stone texture and make the white wall on the left more straight (vertically).
Still, this is one amazing wallpaper that definitely deserves to be faved.
By the way, nice personal touch to replace the seats with actual racing seats ;)
Ooh yay, an Initial D wallpaper. :) I think you did awesome! Going from the b/w scan to this~ Wow. I especially love how you vectored/painted the hachi-roku. *__* Looks almost real! I just have some minor problems with Takumi's shirt...and, well, him overall. ^^; I guess I just think he pops out too much from the wall, and the shading looks off. He looks more "cartoony" compared to the realistic looking 86. But everything is really awesome! :3 You worked very hard, and cause I love Initial D so much, I'm faving~ Great job! Just work on the shading a bit. :)
OMG this is like a super awesome wall. I'm a huge fan of Initial D and appreciate this wall. The techniques you used to paint the manga scan are flawless. Also the image you chose is perfect and it represents the bond with Tak and his car. Very well done on this wall.
The shadowing are great~ but i don't think the 2 little rocks(maybe rocks) on the ground can left such a long shadow, and if the texure of wall can make it look older,I think it'll be better~ Anyway, It's surprise that you can make the original manga into color effect! Just keep on with your nice job!

THis take a long time 6 days, but every day I'll work 2 or 3 hour. For this wall I used the basic brushes
