As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Playing around with typography again, and my same fave
colours once again, except this time instead of a dark background
i went for white. Tried a various combination of backgrounds but in the end
a minimalistic black/white bg proved to be the best option.
Personally this was very tiresome but Freestyler kept me alive.
Seriously it's one of the best friggin song ever.
I think everyone should sing along with me

The idea is indeed cool, but never ever vector with strokes. i know it's easier that way, but the effect is bad. her face looks plain and flat. Instead, use shapes to make strokes so you could vary the thickness and make it look more natural.
but you have some awesome skills manipulating text, props for that. if you add some vivd colors and smooth gradients, and the vectoring technique i mentioned earlier, you're off to glory on AP. just put some more work into it :)
Crazy use of text here, I like how it intersects with the outlines. Nice subtle use of color too. The strokes do look soft, when compared to the precision of the text. After finding myself reading that, I think I'll have a listen to the song and see if it makes more sense like that XD

I love the use of many texts here. It's very good, even though at first I don't know what you were trying to say. I agree that viewing the thumbnail isn't enough, and I like your creativity on putting your name within those texts. I know it's really tiresome, but patients make this wall into one of my fave gallery. Nice!
