As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Took me some time to do as i wanted Dantes' face to be dark and the one i found had text all over it but i mananged to clear it thanks to the clone tool was.With the bg i wanted it to match with the feel of the wallpaper so i kept it dark, thanks to the guys in the forum for help out with that.
Take an old pic and make it new, i believe in that, I love dante on the hill with the castle background and the starry sky above. It's a very nice job and a cool wall!
Very cool. You did an awsome job. It's almost hard to believe there used to be text covering his face. And the backround is also very nice, but I would take him out, it would look better that way.
