This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
It's Chii :O Looking very dark and seductive, nonetheless. The background is from a stock photo of Victoria Harbour in HK but it's supposed to be Tokyo XD

At first I couldn't beleive that it was Chii and then I saw the ear behind her arm...now Ima believer! Heh...But this is a gorgeous looking wall, she looks just like a robotic goddess floating among the sparklies xD
Hmm it a cool wallpaper...but I think the lighting is a bit off. I mean the cityscape in the background is really cool and works with the foreground. But the lighting a the bottom of the page is too much...it doesn't look natural at all.
I like how Chii has been draw and the moon of the background. But I think that the city is too "small" if you compare it with Chii.
Apart of that, it's a nice job ^^.
I love how her feet blends into the background, but I agree. The lighting is too artificial looking, unless you were going for a more ethereal/unreal sort of look, instead of a realisting landscape view.
