As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
Not thinking of the extent of movie fluff. I'm thinking to the extent of a common place thug. It is more the concept of preventing criminal stupidity from causing more proublems.

Hey guys long time no wall. Last one was a collab with Solwy and him and me have been slammed with major issues. Hope you all had a good year so far? Since I got my pen repaired and my computer just sucks I had the patience to do this wall. Clannad ~After Story~ was so amazing. I cried at the end...I cried half way even it was so touching I really had to make something to commend Kyoto for doing such a wonderful job (especially with the details to the backgrounds and moving people).
This took 2 days straight. I had sleep so don't worry haha. My computers so bad now it's not even funny but no worries because by the end of this month I'm getting the best computer I could probably have...ever haha. Anyways, everything was done by blank canvas like I usually do. I had extreme fun with the clouds and I'd even do more if I wanted to. If you guys want the clear version without the orbs you can get it here:
There's probably so many things you can say but I really just enjoy the way it is now. Critiques are always great so go ahead. First time making a pocket watch and trying to nail the perspective on it...jeez I hate it so much, I feel like I noob when I do them. Well I hope you did love Clannad and this is just some more love to it. For now guys, I also have another wall here I did a few nights ago called Beyond the Fields: 00
That was my little treat to people who knew about my old FOH: Special Editions, this one is before Seed even came. I guess you can say there was a field of hope before Lacus sang it haha ;).

Note: It was caught to my attention about the book, 1 its a phone book and 2 it's being held up on the left by something under it thus the weird perspective on it. The pocket watch, I just wanted to put into it since I like those type of watches. I know it's not the greatest thing in the world and it looks "flat" but it was a pain to just consider having the inspiration to do it or I wouldn't of bothered even trying that in the first place. As for some of the pictures a few are off I know but I really couldn't continue with this as now this computers on the last of it's legs. This wall is no where to the attention of the table but all around it. Remember this is Tomoya's apartment, look all around you. I got a lot of people saying about how dark it is on the table but you cannot change that when sun hits something from behind you'll be getting a nice bright cheery image (sarcasm), especially from a sunset. I'll even point out that there's no reflection under the toy turtle as you can see, there's still things missing but it's all I can do so please understand that, thanks :]
I really love the colors of this wall - such a nice sunset-ish feeling! The sky/clouds/orbs of light are so pretty~ There are so many little things in that sky that just give the background that much more character (I particularly like the plane!)
And what cute originality you gave the desktop. The picture frame is too cute - and all those little "remembrance" memorabilia that you incorporated into the wall... like the sketch, the turtle, the pictures... it's just all too cute!
If I had to give any criticisms, it'd only be that I wish the edges of things weren't so sharp - but I don't think that note really takes much away from the awesomeness of this wall!

Colors in the wallpaper are really sweet and graceful. They are covering the husband and the wife's sweet remembrance. Dim darkness and shadow are very natural. Their silent atmosphere is romantic.
Now this is a Wow... I've been looking for a wallpaper that fits Clannad After Story's ending, and thank to you I am sure I found it now. I Will use this as my desktop for sometime now, celebrating the happy ending of a beautiful and touching story that is very worthy to be remembered...
Everything's done nicely, love the clouds, the sunset setting, the light orbs, and the dark dimly lighted room. Your choice of the photo are excellent too, fits the title of "Remembrance". If one looks carefully (And they should), they'll be able to see the little yet important details you add on this wallpaper. The birds flying, plane above the clouds, and even the little notes in the book, all having it's own role of making this piece of Art even more wonderful.
My, seeing this wallpaper will always make me remember of how Clannad was beautifully ended...But will always live on in the heart of those that witness it and the lesson of life it gives... Cant' give any critics on this one, I don't feel I have any rights for that since this is the kind of Art I will never be able to make^^
I love the warm feel and the sunset scene you made,that's fantastic,it attracted most of my attention,I didn't notice it was a Clannad wall until I fullviewed and saw the photo,that's so soft and tender feeling!
Gotta say, I feel overall, the wallpaper feels very flat. Compared to your other walls in this style, I feel as if this one is pretty sub-par. The picture frame is not lit around any of the edges as it should be. I think the windows look great. The addition of the lights of "happiness" or whatever is nice too. Things like the pocket watch feel very flat, and the picture under the watch, and the notebook both have different perspectives, but are on the same surface.
The wall just feels too dark for me since the things that we should be focusing on are completely covered by shadows.
I think the concept is great, and I'm glad to see another wall from you, but I know you can do better.
Why is the picture frame so dark? Shouldnt that be the central focus of this wallpaper?
The sky looks really nice, the curtains...in fact, most everything in here looks good. It's logical given the light source that the stuff on the desk isn't bright but I just find it dissapointing that the best aspect of this wall, the central and integral part of it, what we should be focusing on, was not the primary focus at all. It was covered up so we couldn't see it very well.
It's a shame really because the rest looks pretty good.
Wow this wallpaper is amazing. The picture frame is a little dark, but the beautiful background is simply wonderful. I love how you used the After Story theme. :)
I only played Clannad (not After Story, if there's such a game at all) and didn't watch either of the anime. Your wallpaper has a calming atmosphere to it. But there seems to be a switch in the perspective (I doubt that you've done it on purpose). The postcard (and the stamp or whatever it is on top of that card) should be turned more so that it doesn't appear as if the table is somehow wrong and you are viewing from almost the top down onto the table.
The perspective is my only problem I have with this wall. Everything else (atmosphere, coloring, extraction/vectors) work out together very well and blend to a whole scene. That's what I like... so if were to improve that perspective problem this wallpaper would be definitely a fav for me.
Good concept. Shading looks fine as well lighting. Some of the objects in the scene look kinda weird to me (ex: outside tree, notebook). There is also the matter that everything seems to be perfectly in focus (if the curtains are moving there should be a little bit of motion blur on them). Blurring part of the environment, meaning mostly the background, would have made the overall scene a lot better.
I wasn't going to mention the dark aspect of the image since the main light source was coming from the sun behind, but, as mentioned by others, it makes the elements in the scene hard to see.
