As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Okay, I'm not sure if Vitaa-chan knows or liked D.N angel.. but! I don't know what else to do for her. I've been doing a lot of thinking a month before her birthday, but nothing came up >_< Well, I do know that I want something happy, cheerful.. and while browsing through MT male scans (gods know how many pages I had go through. But I do know it's 20+ pages!!), I saw this scans. So I thought this is good enough ;) Besides that, I've never vector a D.N Angel scans before :nya: Hope you don't mind X-P
Anyways, this time around.. I made the outlines a bit bolder than what I'm used to do. Just wanna try it ;) I honestly like it, but... it's really tiring. I had my right arm crammed just before finishing Dark's (only his hair left). So, I had to call it quit that night and continued the next day ^_^'
The coloring process were pretty fun, as I decided to use gradient for most of the shadows.. and I love their eyes! Oh, I know that Dark eye color is not red, but.. just leave it be :nya:
For the background... urghh.. I don't really wanna talk about it. I've finished the vector 1 week ago, and has been trying like hell to do the background. This is like my 5th try... and although I still don't like it very much, I decided to give up. Coz if I change it again, it'll be another month before posting this x_x Anyways, for the clouds, I decided to try and paint them myself (which is my first try).. so hopefully they look okay. Although.. I think they look blurred. I didn't even used any blur! >.< Oh well, I'm too tired to think right now.

The vector has too much blur, the outside of the
vector has a blurry field around it a bit. I love the clouds, fluffy
and yummy looking. I think the water needs more detail, and the
color is a bit off on the right side. The brown thingy is nice, I'm guessing it's like
a ledge right? Maybe you can change it to grey? it's hard to tell what it is.
Maybe lighter and more stone-ish would help ^^.

On second thought, you might not need a tablet after all xD Since you can already paint well with your mouse~ I agree that the clouds are a tad too blurry, maybe because of the choice of brushes ^_^ Still, the blurry background gives more focus to your lovely vector, and that's a good thing ;) I like the outlines here too~
Yes really nice wallpaper that could be put in a frame, I got an idea have the same 2 people in that picture looking at themselves with that picture in a frame. ^_^
Wonderful vectoring. I love how sketchy the lines look. :) I love all the gradients, especially on their hair. Dark's hair especially looks really good. The way simple style you did the eyes in also looks exceptionally good. The shadows on the skin tones have a very painted-esque appearance to them, which looks amazing. Great job on all the colors and the shading.
The only thing I don't really like is the background, which looks kind of flat to me, notably the water. The sky and clouds are pretty, but I don't really love the water or the stone (?) railing.
It still looks really pretty. I wish it wasn't widescreen so I could use it. :) +fav

Vector looks good. Background clouds are nicely done, however I can't say the same for the ground part section. It just looks flat.
